They days when we had real proper fans and when the players that played for us loved the club and it was not just about money, the club these days is a joke and the people running behind the scenes (the board) have not an idea about chelsea and what the fans want need etc etc......Ask any real chelsea fans they would choose how it was back then in the the mid-late 90's to how it is now at the club regardless of what we have won, chelsea need to bring back there roots to the club.
Okay, so were finding it hard to break down teams, but we have an assistant manager who can pick out passes like that...why is he not teaching our players these passing skills or do the current crop find it too hard?
Fuck me....a 16-year-old 'London die hard United' fan mouthing off about Chelsea and calling them plastic. Ha ha. Probably never been to Manchester in his life and wouldn't know Clayton Blackmore if he broke into his house and wiped his bum on his Mum's curtains.
@viallimcbeal I know exactly who Clayton Blackmore is and I know he squirted his Welsh cum over your mums face in the drunken celebrations after the Rotterdam Cup WInners Cup win. Do you remember the likes of Pat Nevin and that short striker with a huge leap named Speed though? Back when you were languishing in the 2nd Division before Roman poured his illegally obtained loadsamoney bucks in?
@PrideOfMancunia Haha. "Cum on your Mum's face". Nice teenaged insult. Profanity with a Mum cuss thrown in. A bit retro like Clayton himself. As for Nevin, yes I remember him and Speedie. I wouldn't say Chelsea were 'languishing' in the second division back then though. Speedie and Nevin got Chelsea promoted as div 2 champions in 84 and then they finished 6th in Div 1 for the next two consecutive seasons. Only two places behind United both times. Only 1 of Nevin's 5 seasons was in Div2.
@PrideOfMancunia So by your logic, we were in Div 2 before Roman bought the club and got us promoted to the PL? For someone who claims to know it all, your dumbass can't remember the cups we won before ROman? the FA Cup, UEFA Cup, Cup Winner's Cup, Community Shields? And you don't even know we qualified for the CL the season BEFORE RA bought Chelsea? Wow. You must have some kind of amnesia or you're just that dumb.
Oi, you wannabe-manc twat - the most hated team in England is still Leeds, this is said by people infinitely more intelligent than you who've actually bothered to go around and ask a few thousand people beforehand. You chould do with some reading first before throwing you handbags around, halfwit
This was back when Chelsea were semi-lovable. I'm a London United die-hard, but I had a soft spot for Chelsea (mainly cos' tickets at the Bridge were fucking cheap and also because I was about 5 years old and didnt understand the concept of football rivalry).
Then you lot became all about the money. Wise was THAT guy in the old days though, wasn't he? In terms of graft surely only Keano was better than him. Wise was like, not just any old little cunt, but CHELSEA's little cunt. :)
@CFCwehatetottenham fuck off daft cunt, what effect does locality have to do with supporting your team. if you love chelsea so much go sleep on the gutters of kings road
@CFCwehatetottenham If I was a gloryhunter I'd of supported Chelsea when the Fat Russian Crook made you his latest plaything. This is why I hate Chelsea so much these days. Self-righteous brigade, when your fanbase (half of it) supported Arsenal before Roman starting splashing the cash.
Plastic team, plastic cunts. Everybody used to rate Chelsea, even in the Ken Bates, Jody Morris days (mainly cos of Zola and Jimmy Floyd). Now? Everybody hates you plastic twats.
@PrideOfMancunia Can't disagree with anything you've just said, yeah the club has turned plastic. Who hates it more then anyone else? The real Chelsea fans who follow the team home and away since they can remember (like me).
Still makes you a gloryhunter though. You didn't need to change teams when our oil crook took over us cos Munich united were the best team in the country winning trophies every season.
@CFCwehatetottenham not really cos' it was a generation thing, those before supported United also, even during the dogged 70's where we toyed with relegation and the mediocre 80's. A Gloryhunter as you say, would be unaware the club even existed before "BECKUM AND ROANDLO LOLZZ!!1!1". How is it my fault I was born in 1994, when United began to hit a successful era?
If nobody supported top teams then Premier League grounds would be empty and we'd all watch Sunday league, no?
@PrideOfMancunia listen you little cockmonkey. im sick of little cunty cunts like you going round giving it the big cheese on the internet and facebook and the rest of it about how much you love united and united till you die and all that nonsense you lot spout, then to top it off i have to hear every little shitbag united fan bitching that we got a bit of money and now the likes of city have just casue it means you havent got the monoploly on players anymore.
@casualchauncey We never had a monopoly on the top players ever in the first place. We came into success due to the investments in the youth system that brought us Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, Fletcher etc. and shrewd buys that turned out to be great players such as Schemichel, Irwin, Cantona, Solskjaer, Stam Ronaldo, Vidic, Evra etc.
The likes of Cole, Yorke, Rooney etc. simply joined for one reason - The clubs ambition when foreign teams and Chelsea in Rooney's case were offering inflated wages.
This was my favourite ever Chelsea team, prefer it to the one now. Just all the talent and amount of world-class footballers that played for us and none of them were to expensive :D
quater finals of the champions league with some great results, 5-0 win at galatasaray, this draw with milan, 3-1 win over barcelona, the FA cup win, we crushed man utd at the bridge, I miss these days, back when I was a little nipper running around at primary school pretending to be wise or zola when we played football at lunchtimes, those were the days
great moment. Dennis you're a legend. We'll forgive for playing for millwall (as much as we can). great finish. by the way i think everyone is sick of Barca dickriders who got lucky this year. hope we sign Aguero or Young. fuck the naysayers

he was a legend, a better player than he got credit for, just had a short fuse, and people knew how to light it. one of the best passers of the ball i have seen and never went into a challenge without being 100% committed
Well you fuck now anything about football then what did wise actully do nothing, true he was a great footballer but he never had anything specifically good about him, Shearer is the primierships top goal scorer he isent trying to fuck things up with newcastle the club he loves and he is an england legend
Wise had nothing specifically good about him? What you on about? He could use both feet, worked hard & could play right wing, left wing, attacking midfielder & holding midfielder equally well. Played over 400 times for Chelsea & won three FA cups, a league cup, a cup winner's cup & a European Super Cup in his career. Newcastle haven't won a trophy since 1969 & a domestic one since 1955. All they can mention is that he is a 'cockney'. Yeah, just like Malcolm Macdonald. Ignorant idiots.

DAMN memories Chelse played the best football in them dayz ask alan hansson. That goal was in the 99/2000 season. We managed to draw with milan home and away both games were in the group stage though.
What a goal, what a man, what a night! I was there went mental when Wisey scored. Those were the days. I've been hunting for a video of this game for ages. Thanks for putting it up. Cheers Come on you Blues!!!
Oh Dennis Wise , Scored a Bloody Late Goal, at the san siro , 10 minutes to go , Oh Dennis Wise Scored that bloody late goal, in the san siro with 10 minutes to go! Oh Wayne Bridge Scored that bloody late goal at the Arsenal Shithole 2 minutes to go! Dennis Wise a Legend and a fuckin great player , I looked up to him!
Spurs fan here, but I have to say - great control and finish from Wise there. Football fairytale stuff really, only a few years before that he was a non-league player who probably never dreamed of scoring such an important, high profile goal.
oh for a return to the days when there was no prima donnas , just good tough skillful footballers without diamond earrings and hair gel , think our little menace would of sorted man utds portugese diver out as well !!!!

Aaah i miss those days : Dimatteo, Zola, Wise, Vialli etc. May not be as successful as todays Chelsea but they were great to watch.

Spurs fan here, but I have to say - great control and finish from Wise there. Football fairytale stuff really, only a few years before that he was a non-league player who probably never dreamed of scoring such an important, high profile goal.
Football, love it.

Not really. He signed for Chelsea 9 years before that goal.

you get my point.

And signed for us from a team that won the FA Cup against Liverpool lol. But fairytale stuff for us watching it anyway!
