  • What the hell France???

  • yeah, but craig is also a hundred times funnier than letterman, so i guess you could compare schmidt to letterman.

  • This is the biggest pile of dog-shite I have ever seen...

  • @dgoetze23 Ack! I'm not that good yet D:

  • I always wondered what those tossed away emails/twitters said... now I know...

  • wait did the french guy steal jeoff too???

  • Don't you just love how you can clap to this?

  • That French bas-.....(humming mightily) He stole that! Get 'em Geoff!

  • thanks for couple of seconds of warning malinky. i knew the sound would go REALLY loud..

  • cbs should sue.

  • Lmao I love how he tries saying "Are you..." in a "French voice". Made me crack up!

  • I'm french and i watch The Late Late Show (online, of course) everytime. I love this show, and i agree, "Arthur" (the french guy) is a douche bag, and pretty much everyone IN FRANCE think this guy is a douche bag. Damn, how could he steal the whole opening credit, the bastard, he has absolutely no talent. Seriously, sue this guy ! We love you, craig, keep going ;)

  • Harald Schmidt is indeed a Letterman clone, neither of them is or was ever funny. My teacher once showed a clip of Harald Schmidt in class because he thought it's so funny but I and almost everybody in class thought: That's not funny, that's stupid and annoying

  • Please, the show should not be an excuse for Americans to spit on ALL French people, it would be very dishonest too ...

  • a nerd is different than a geek. Just saying...

  • Loving the little Tardis taking a permanent place on Craig's desk :D

  • the gasp at 2:50 is priceless :D

  • Love love love his gasp at 2:52. :D

  • Oh come on guys, there is a bunch of shows that run all over the globe in different languages. Look at the british show "who wants to be a millionaire?". The guy who invented it, sold that to more than 100 countries.

  • Dear French, please don´t feel too ashamed. German telly also steals a lot from USA and UK. They even take the stories of famous movies and remake them for TV. German TV is no fun at all, believe me. yours, DasNutellamaedchen

  • @DasNutellamaedchen U.S. directors make also remakes of French films ("Les Visiteurs" for example). Maybe french humor or scenario are too subtle for them, unless it's navel gazing ...

  • @Meghann25 The difference is that Americans pay and negociate for doing the remakes. All those french comedians, who steal american jokes for years and years, don't.

  • at 2:50 I almost died of laughter :D

  • I saw the Harald Schmidt Show, and he's as unfunny as Letterman is. I take a Craig clone over a Letterman clone any day.

  • Comment removed

  • when harald schmidt's show started he was just a letterman clone - but he made no secret out of that (e.g. viewer mails were brought by the "letterman").

but he developed his very own style. in his best times he held a monologue of 35 minutes at his desk 5 times per week.

  • How the hell does he know about Harald Schmidt and even gets his name right? lol

  • Anybody else feel the unbridled urge to drown "Arthur" in that fountain?

  • Ricky from Birmingham is my co-worker, I actually sent the tweet for him because he's not on the tweety!!! Birmingham chaps are lovely but guys, please stop chewing your words! #justkidding #RSA UK

  • Conan O'Brien was actually on Harald Schmidt years ago and when he came back he also said that it's basically a copy of Harald Schmidt (an in fact Conan, of which he also just adapted (nicer word for "stole") a few regular features.

  • I just noticed that one of the Japanese speech bubbles said "Shiri no moodo"

    Which is "ass-mode" in English.

    Lol, thought I'd share.

  • I do not believe that Craig is a sex nerd after seeing Mondays show.

  • Love the Craigermeister xoxo

  • the font-stealing is the most hilariously dickish thing about the french opening.

  • @OcularPolitics But you know Craig is Loving this... :)

  • @CaroKawaii yeahh, I think I might too xD

  • Harald Schmidt was like Letterman when he was still funny a couple of years ago. Nowadays, he often is a little bit weird... (with occaisonal outbursts of genius, I admit ^^). But Craig is still a hundred times funnier than the best Schmidt!

  • @DukeBaWue agree!!

  • We're not all douche bags like Arthur...

  • @morgoth1236 We know, Love...we know.

  • @morgoth1236 That's true. You are each your own unique douchebag, like some kind of douchey snowflake.

  • @morgoth1236 i agree =)

  • To sound like a proper Brummy you have to ask for a KIPPER TIE. in translation that would be cup of tea (cupper tea)

  • LMAO at 3:03

  • I'm french and I don't like Arthur ! lol I never liked him and I'm shocked to see how he just copy the opening. Was it supposed to be a parody or did he really copy the full thing for his show ? Anyway we're lame in France we copy and ruin everything. We have our version of CSI, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds and they all suck so what's the point in copying stuff that we're not good to make by ourself ? stupid... Anyway I really liked the LLS and I enjoy watching them on youtube =)

  • @ChtiteParisienne75 well this dude has a panda to imitate geoff, has similar puppets similar to craig and from what someone told me, this dude also says`s "its a great day for france" as well.

  • @wrestja1234 I don't know I really can't stand him so I don't watch his shows lol but that wouldn't surprise me in fact. And I'm so mad because that give such a bad picture of France.

  • @ChtiteParisienne75 I don't know if there are many French who like Arthur lol (Coucou, compatriote française ;-))

  • @Meghann25 lol ça fait plaisir de se sentir moins seule sur ce point, vu ses audiences on pourrait se demander lol

Translation : I said it was great to see that I wasn't the only one who dislike this guy because when we see how many people watch his show we could wonder...

  • Whatever they are doing in France, the opening theme composers will NEVER measure up to CF's creation on the LLS.

  • I googled "Harold Shmit" or whatever his last name is and WOW...

Arthur copies the "puppets, dances, and credits" but the set is different..

not Shmit. THE SET IS IDENTICAL.

  • wow would have never thaught somebody in America would know Harald Schmidt.....>.> .....But YAY for Craig getting the name right I guess XP

  • harald schmidt is awesome!!!!
