tbf Gordon Brown got us INTO it ! He relaxed banking/city rules when chanceller.
Claimed the credit for the income to treasury. Disclaimed the responsibility when it all collapsed. Didnt control the banks and as PM didnt punish the bankers and used your money to mail them out. Have you not noticed the raft of cuts now taking place in a vain attempt to stop this country actually collapsing.
We are in 'double v' recession !!
