@ac51979 The car salesperson that sold me my car, when I asked him about the cambelt said to me, "the cambelt is very good." Then I got a pre purchase inspection done which showed no cambelt history. I then told the guy, "cambelt, water pump, tensioner" are important. The salesperson then said, "the man out the back will take care of it." I thought great he's going to do a cambelt job. He kept the bill of sale from me and I only noticed he'd stamped "Customer to check replace cambelt" on

@ac51979 it after I had it home. I was annoyed, because I thought it was a yes or no answer. The cambelt is either done or not done. Anyway I booked it in for a full cambelt job. I got cambelt, water pump, tensioner, engine oil, spark plugs done. Then the guy who did the cambelt told me the tyres are illegal with skid marks. To make a long story short, this 5000 dollar car ended up costing me 7 grand because of the dealers dishonesty.
