I'm learning even more about Bruiser Brody thanks to his widow, Barbara Goodish as well as others who helped in recounting stories about him. Amazing athlete. He was my favorite. All of his fans still miss him.

But, I don't see how Gonzales could have had the chance to stab Brody a few times unless his back was turned. Brody was a BIG strong man. I heard that Jose had the knife consealed in towel. According to Bobby Jaggers, who was there. Brody was killed for refusing to pay taxes in the office there.
@Softbird27 Yeah, Gonzales had the knife and his hand wrapped up in a towel, so Brody never saw it coming. And if you ask people, the attack by Gonzales was far beyond Brody's time in Puerto Rico. Apparently when Brody was working for Vince Sr. up north, he encounted a yougn Gonzles there, and the big man apparently didn't treat him all that well. Basically it was an all out act of a coward, and since the office stood by him, I wish they territory would have died. Sadly it's still around.
@austin2090 a DAMN SHAME! Even sadder than the cover up is all the guys who were there standing together, actually went back to PR to make money wrestling there. Even after claiming they wouldn't. I personally could not work for someone I knew actually killed someone in cold blood.

Self defense from a man who agreed to go into the shower to speak about business? The same man who was holding a pic of his son?
I saw Brody wrestle Harley Race for the NWA title. I screamed , "Brody...Brody...Brody..." the whole match. I was hoarse for three days. Brody kicked ass in his day.
They need to remake this video and leave that SCUMBAG Chris Benoit out of it! Bruiser would never appreciate anyone who kills his wife and kid!
