  • Ich liebe es, wenn Amerikaner versuchen, deutsche Wörter auszusprechen :)

  • @Caterpillarjon You can "Geladen" say very good.

Sorry for my terrible english im german.

  • It wasn't made in 1940 because it was used in ww1 around 1890 it was made

  • Love it subd.

  • did u notice everytimehe fires the gun you can here a dog barking.Especially every video that he shoots u can here a dog

  • I've shot a luger before and it's really fun to shoot

  • AWSOME!!!!!!

  • How often will the Luger discharge the full eight rounds without jamming?

  • So what handgun were the Nazi forces using in the year of 1939? :O

  • I think, when u shooting very close from camera its pretty bad for audio later :)

  • Do you know where can I find one of this Lugers? Im from Argentina and in my country is, practically, imposible to get one. Regards!

  • A little too formal.. but nice vid. Nice gun, too.

  • actually the 1st one was made in 1898 after the C-93 design made in 1893

  • Very nice! I have a 1938 S/42 that I bought last month and used in a reenactment, but I haven't had the chance to live-fire it yet. I'm glad to see you're enjoying yours!

  • Indeed, while this beautiful piece of machinery is most widely associated with WWII Germany, it was also used by the Kaiser's forces, and almost adopted as the side arm for the US of A. The deciding factor which left the P08 to Southern American and European countries was the Colt 1911's larger caliber.

  • The gun was made around 1893. But it was still used during the 40´s. And it was a german weapon not "nazi" weapon.

  • It makes you think... That's the noise of concentration camp firing walls, supressive fire on anarchists and the Allies being gunned down.

  • Krieghoff has remade the Luftwaffe Luger at a price of around 17000 USD. It is on their website. You can buy these guns for approximately 1000 to 18000 depending on the condition and manufacturer. The most expensive are the Krieghoff versions which I've seen recently for 15 to 18K.

  • good pronounciation of the german words ;)

  • mauser company made the sexiest guns ever :D

  • nazi handgun? Not all Germans back than were nazi's you know...

  • it's preatty interesting how english speaking people talk german =O

  • Nice video, but "Nazi handgun" was that necessary?

Please avoid the word Nazi xD

I even don´t call every white american rednack or the colored nigger. ;)

Just because you´re an Officer of the Wehrmacht you don´t had to be a Nazi. ;)

    geladen=loaded

    gesichert=locked

But nice video ;) like to see more ;)

    Greetings from Germany

  • cool my friend has one 2 and we couldnt find the right rounds for it what did u use?

  • Question: (excuse me, I know almost nothing about any sort of firearm) but I'm wondering where the magazine shells are ejected?

  • @cherryberry160 They are ejected out of the top of the pistol they go straight up and backward

  • @Caterpillarjon Ah, thanks man.

  • nazi

  • i love lugers very very nice target and self defense wepons

  • Cool ! Awsome I love shooting mines .

  • This gun is complete trash. I would MUCH rather have my 1911.

  • @MrChevroletEd

I have a glock 18 airsoft that does full auto. I like it better than the po8 and the 1911

  • @MrChevroletEd youre an idiot... this gun is pure class

  • This gun sucks. I would MUCH rather have a 1911.

  • This is an officers gun if a normal soldier or foreign soldier was caught with this gun he was shot on site the p38 was the normal handgun

The p08 even has à matching holster wich is fully closes to keep dirt and water away from the gun

  • @ruudnelisse That was not anywhere near the case. Your average infantryman in the German army wouldn't have a pistol at all, and if he managed to grab a P08 or P38, he wasn't punished for it unless he wasn't in combat and some hard-line officer gigged him for it.

  • geladen, gesichert^^

  • what were you shooting at

  • @cambo458 A target stand

  • dose the p-08 shoot a 9mm

  • @cambo458 Yes it does.

  • this gun is ..absolutly beautiful .

  • I WANT THIS GUN!

  • Haha, I'm German and your pronunciation was off considerably, otherwise nice video though.

  • beautiful, how much did you pay for it?

  • @Rangerfull3 I paid $800 for it three years ago.

  • D*** it I hate nazis but there weapons are f***ing good evil combo.

  • common,it was in service 1908–1945,don't missguide people.

  • fat ass

  • geladen xD

    ahahah ami spricht deutsch

  • Very nice Vid Man! Excellent Commentary!! (not just saying "this a Luger"and unloading the clip^^) Thumbs up Bro!

  • Nice gun! Gotcha beat by a year as i have a 1939 luger. What do you think caused ur jam?

  • @wubaru Using the original magazine with a worn spring in it.

  • Cool, a gun that tell you "loaded".

    xD

  • i hella want this

  • which do you prefer to shoot and why? Walther P-38 or the Luger P-08

compared to other WWII pistols, how do they stack?

  • @ml219 I like both, but I prefer shooting the luger, just because it is more balanced and feels better in your hand.

  • @ml219 Both are nice but, the p08 (my G date luger), feels better one handed. I never shoot two handed with my luger. It seems to bite your strong side hand otherwise. The P38 feels more substantial but has less recoil IMO.

  • i dont wanna troll or sumthing but plz dont nazi handgun. not every german soldier of that time was a nazi or fascist. the most of the soldiers of the wehrmacht were regular german soldiers who had to do their job

  • Never Jamm i heve one of this and a C96

  • Do the shells eject upward on this gun?

  • @707Airsoft Yes, and backward

  • hey your pronounciation was good ! =D Nice Video . Greetings from Germany XD

  • hi.

  • the translation from latin is real simple: para bellum. for war. no need to add all this"if you seek peace, prepare for"

  • Parabellum translates real simple: For War. No need to to add: If You Seek Peace, blah blah.

  • there is no "German luger" the luger p08 was constructed by Georg luger an Austrian weapon constructor

  • an absolutely beautiful weapon in it's own right

  • I once saw a Luger up close myself. An old guy was selling his piece in a gunshop, and I was permitted to get a look at it. One of a kind experience!

  • How much for a WWII original?

And How much for a modern day made one?

  • @FailProgrammingIRE Originals can range from $700-$3000. As far as I know no one is currently making them in a modern day version.

  • @Caterpillarjon i picked up a VERY used one for around 390. she was ugly. but functional. a set of grips later. she was good to go. ive seen the 3k versions too. those areusually VERY desirable because of hte nazi swastikas, and lowproduction numbers etc. at hte very TOP of my want list lol

  • Nice gun! Is that a Hamilton watch you're wearing? Love those..

  • its funny 'cause while it is a symbol of the nazi's, the standard issued pistol was not the luger. it was the Walther p38.

  • made in germany :D

  • Try 1908 bro I have one and it says 1915 all over it

  • it is a beautiful handgun. i want to marry it <3

  • could you please show me the reloading tool you use.

    thank you

  • someones trophy for sure,

  • bro if it is P-08 it was adopted by the german military in 1908 so it was made before the ww II but it was issued to all German Soldiers as a side arm while the Walther P-38 was developed in which it was adopted during 1938!

  • cantworollz of course its made in the 40s what year would you think it was made in? 1990s? no of course not because recreations are gay and people d0nt want them and like i said theyre recreations not the real thing

  • one of my best friends has a 1918 luger. it was his great grandfathers. It is literally in perfect condition, almost like its never been shot. 100% original too. by far one of the most fun pistols to shoot.

  • eine gute pistole

    hatte mein großvater auch

  • I bet this guy is a member of some white supremacy group or something.

  • @LaddieGalicia or he could be just a WW2 collector cause he also has a P38

  • @LaddieGalicia or he's just a WW2 collector cause he also has a P38

  • @LaddieGalicia Fucking stereotypical bastard. If he were black, would you say "I bet he's a member of the Black Panthers, or something", or if he were Asian, would you say "I bet he's a member of the Yakuza, or something"? Fuck you, and yes, I mad.

  • @LaddieGalicia Probably, considering he knew what geladen means in english, also the fact he didn't know what gesichert means..... wow your an idiot laddie. your thought of reasoning is sad....

  • @LaddieGalicia or just a gun enthusiast

  • @LaddieGalicia naah, why should he?

  • @LaddieGalicia LOL yea probly

  • @LaddieGalicia Nah... he dont have a skinhead.

  • @LaddieGalicia Why? Just because he has a firearm that was used by a German soldier during WWII? Your comment was truly ignorant.

  • @LaddieGalicia Why would you think that?

  • @LaddieGalicia

You don't have to be an asshole to appreciate classic German engineering.

You wouldn't call anyone owning a Khalashnikov a communist would you?

The nazi's were big jerks, yes, but their military equipment was very, very impressive. Also, their uniforms looked cool.

  • @ThatMan0verThere When you have a famous clothing designer like Hugo Boss design your uniforms, it's easier to look cool. Kind of like the Italian Police wearing Armani designed uniforms.

  • @ThatMan0verThere "Also, their uniforms looked cool."

so cool that darth vader moddled them amd the iraq special police coppied darth vader and the american military coppied them.

  • @LaddieGalicia Just because you own Nazi memorabilia, does not a Nazi make. I have a huge interest in WWII weaponry and if my country wasn't so strict with it's gun laws, I'd have a Luger P08, Mauser C96, Mp40, Mp44, Thompson M1, Colt 1911, BAR, sterling pretty much any type of WWII weaponry I could get my hands on. The German's had a lot of great and unique weaponry and just because you own a few of them, doesn't mean you like the people; just their guns.

  • @BakaHULK exactly. ive got pctures taken in 1936 by my great grandfather. who at hte time was a german citizen. ( later one became mayor of coral springs fl. ). i collect nazi stuff. a walther p38 for one

  • @BakaHULK Amen

  • You look cool i will ask people to sub you.By the way where do you get those glasses?

  • This pistol in german is called "Parabellum" or just "P.08" nobody says "Luger" (the name of the constructor). The name "Parabellum" came from latin: Si vis pacem, para bellum.(If you would like to have peace, be prepared for war). The Ammunition 9mm Para means that (Parabellum) Is on your pistol "Mauser" written, then your pistol is produced at the Mauser Werke (Mauser crafts/Mauser company). And your pronunciation is right! ;)

  • @zumandre Actually, pretty much everybody refers to the gun as "The Luger"

  • i just hate it when i search up bb gun then find real guns... bb guns just dont compare

  • Ok, guys... am i the ONLY one here who know that in order to cook a waffle properly,

YOU PUT IT IN A TOASTER NOT A MICROWAVE!!!!!!!!!! you ppl are so stupid! i mean, any dumb fag knows not to do that! gosh...

    cheers,

    starving tinker

  • your german pronounciation is cool ;)

  • dear santa...

  • Can I be Proud of my country?

  • guh-lah-dn --- guh-sih-hurt

  • made in the 40's? are you serius? -.-

  • @CantwoRollz Yes this pistol was manufactured in 1940 by Mauser, so it is now 71 years old.

  • @Caterpillarjon ehm....it was introducted in 1989 in fact the luger p08 was used in the first world war too,

check this link or even wiki -.-:

    world.guns.ru/handguns/hg/de/luger-parabellum-e.html

  • @Caterpillarjon it was made in 1908 the guy who invented it was born in 1849 a whole 90 years before 1940.

  • @CantwoRollz Its more old, The Luger P08 was designed in 1898 and manufactured from 1900 to 1945, today they made more Lugers with the "Cheap" cost of U$ 15.950 xD

  • @CantwoRollz of course the 40s dumbass it was in world war 2 get your history sorrted cause who ever tawt you ur history was buttf**ked in the azz as a baby

  • @CantwoRollz yes

  • @CantwoRollz

    ...

  • @MathieuCornez i just got one for 800 bucks. it is a 1915 and it is literally mint. i think the guy was a bit slow who sold it to me.

  • nice

  • COOL

  • In every video of these guns that I have found they have a jam in it! This gun was not that good, The Germans hated it because of the amount of small parts and it was dead if it got dirt in it. The only reason this is a sought after pistol is because it was the Nazi side arm that's it.

  • man, the Nazi's made some awesome guns.

  • llanamejia. I use Fiocci fmj I have yet to have a jam.

  • i want a luger so bad

  • my daddy has got 1 of them

  • I want one!

  • Like your Video. :D

By the way, you pronunced "geladen" very well.

  • I have a Luger (P08) issued to the Luftwaffe. Well I believe it was issued to the Luftwaffe bacause holster has a very nice luftwaffe eagle. My problem I only have 3 original bullets, those with a flat point (is that an oxymoron?).

What is the type of modern munition that will suit this pistol?

I would like to fire the pistol. My dad was the last one to fire it, some 50 years ago.

  • @llanamejia As I understand it any copper coated 9mm FMJ will run through a luger. I personally would not run +P ammo or hollow points but standard brass FMJ should shoot fine. Other variations on ammunition may work but I wouldn't risk using anything that might damage the weapon.

  • @rsmac11 Actually Lugers work best with +P ammo. The Luger action (although sensitive to dirt) is one of the strongest actions ever designed, and also one of the fastest. It cycles in 1/30 of a second. In my Lugers, some will easilly handle hollow points, others not. But all have been accurate enough to embarrass the Glocks, Springfields, Berettas and Sigs of my friends. Like buying a Jaguar, having a 3-some with 2 hot girls, & starting a business, every guy should own a Luger.

  • @horselips "Like buying a Jaguar, having a 3-some with 2 hot girls, & starting a business, every guy should own a Luger."

    Definitely in my bucket list.

  • that thing is so cool i want one of those

  • why did the slide remain open before the last round?

  • @MrG3SG1 Yeah I was afraid he forgot about the eighth round and was going to end up shooting himself in the foot or something crazy.

  • Good stuff. Wolff makes springs that replace the mainspring and the like, makes it a bit easier for the gun to function.

Also what kind of ammo are you using, lugers are very picky ammo wise. I know mine runs like a swiss watch I have not had a jam with it yet but i was using some military surplus ammo that ran at about 1100 FPS with a 115 grain bullet. Then I used some American Eagle stuff (didn't chrono it) but that had a 124 grain bullet. They can be reliable guns provided the ammo is good.

  • REPLACE THOSE SPRINGS to stop jamming

  • Replace those springs all off them to stop toggle hanging or jamming

  • if only that guy in band of brothers put the safety thing on he wouldnt have got his leg artery cut -.-

  • Lugers are very neat guns, I'm hoping to add one to my collection soon. Odds are its gonna be one of them guns that gets shot 2 or 3 times a year and when it does it won't be shot often. These are collector's pieces now and theres nothing wrong with that.

You have a very clean example. Nice.

  • lugers have to be one of the most collectible pistols in the US now..very pricey for a real nice condition one with all numbers matching. I guess you'd have to expect that, being they've been out of production for so long.. another great piece of german precision engineering...Great gun

  • I own a P.08 all maching serial numbers (original WWII) and she never jams on me.

  • @VonAlb same here i just go one i love it it goes great with my m1911 mil spec they both shoot great and they never jam

  • I have a 1915 DWM "luger" shooter that almost never jams, and groups 2-3" at 15yrds. My P38 is nice but my Lugers are more fun to shoot. Must have one of each in my book.... ;)

  • Someone shot me with a Luger once...

I ran up to him and stabbed his face.

    DAMN, CoD is awesome!

  • @vdchgffgv lol

  • @vdchgffgv The Luger never made it into appearance in any of the COD games up to date.

  • Damn for a small peashooter it has quite a kick

  • i have tried that gun it is totaly unbalansed, BUT VERY PRESICE.

  • good video

  • that was a vintage luger wasnt it how much was it

  • 14 jues down

  • is your clip hard to load?

  • @chasen310 No I use a loading tool, and it is very quick

  • @chasen310 i know and there is nothing to hold down the spring. but you could for a air soft gun

  • @chasen310 its quick if you use a loading tool

  • this weapon is evil

  • tha187shiznit. Es ist lustig, Deutsche zu hören, Englisch zu sprechen.

  • tha187shiznit Es ist lustig, Deutsche zu hören, Englisch zu sprechen.

  • i want a 45.acp cal luger

  • German Engineering At Its Finest.

  • why does he have a voice like a 10 year old....

  • I love it when Americans call it a "Nazi" gun. The gun was adopted by the German navy in 1906 and later on in their whole army. The Swiss adopted it in 1900 but they are not chamberd in 9mm. They US chose the colt over the Luger although they considered the Luger. All that to say that the gun should not be associated to Nazism, it's german yes but not Nazi. It just sounds weird saying it's a Nazi gun. I know you said "considered" not accusing anyone... Sorry for being naggy. Wonderful gun btw.

  • i love the way how you say geladen xD

  • I've promised myself to buy a deactivated one of these VERY soon (dont bitch about it being deactivated please, i live in the UK so what do you expect :/ )

  • This degenerate fat fuck should be at the other end of the weapon.

  • Ahh.. Such a beautiful pistol!

  • zumindest so weit gehen, um die korrekte Aussprache, bevor Sie eine Video-und aussehen wie ein Esel durch Erraten lernen. aber anders als das nette Video Mannes.

  • @TheSTURMGEWEHR44 says the one who cant even write german correctly. sounds a lot like google-translator to me.

  • I just love that gun

  • i had a 1937 s/42 mauser po-8 luger.....i wish i hadnt had to sell it

  • Nice pistol, nice video. I wish your finger was on the trigger less times, and only when target is in sight. Regards.

  • I'D BE PLAYING WOLFENSTEIN 3D ALL DAY IF I HAD DAT <:D

  • Nice video, I want one of those guns! They have really increased in value since the 60's.

  • The definitive Nazi Handgun is the PPK or P-38. Really the P-08 is the Imperial era, but I gues sin a small sense it could be considered as such. Up until 1942 anyways.

  • The most beautiful sound I have ever heard.

  • Nice man,i love WWII guns

  • I've seen lots of videos of that gun on YouTube with it jamming like it does in this vid. Not sure if its a gun I'd want to bring into battle.

Sure it looks nice, but I'd take a P38 or PPK over it.

  • sick bro

  • ... god damnit it's not a na[z]i weapon :(

it was first produced in 1893- did you hear that?

  • @StarAll4life Yes but te na(z)is used this gun all throughout WWII so its well known as a na(z)i weapon

  • You´ve shot a Luger. I envy you.

    thanks for the vid man.

  • You´ve shot a Luger......I envy you.

    thanks for the vid man.
