bit of advice for ppl NEVER watch the 1st Yu-gi-oh series (all the way up to GX) throught and through non-stop. You discover that most of the episodes are very repetive or have massive logical and plot holes.

I did, watched the 1st series took me a about a week. gah!

worst season of Yu-gi-oh I think. Anyone feels that the latter duel competition was just thrown in randomly? What was its point? We could have just gone from Orichalcos to Yami's past (last season=Best). Now that I think about it, Duelist Kingdom in the beginning was a waste too, but at least some past mysteries got revealed in it
