bad bus! ***kick to engine*** ***engine blows up*** ***replaces with Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine, with air starter. The current engine, shown in the vid, starts like its hell.

i bet alot of routemasters dont have their original engine in

I bet parts are very scarce for aec engines.

@jaggass probably, i know that scania engines in RM/RML's are very hard to find parts for now as Scania have stopped making the parts

cumminseaparts are crap!! keep them to the proper vintage original engine

AEC rules and is orignal - the way you shold keep them although a leyland 680 or gardner would throw people in the know

sounds really powerfull when they start. they gota bring them back on some bus routes especailly the 94 thats a quick long straight road

Very True - But I will say that a lot of the routemasters ended up with the better Cummins 8.6 diesel in.
