If you are an extreme athlete you're cool. If you are an extreme athlete who use a wheelchair, you are a hero? A guy at my gym asked me if I was training for the Special Olympics. Will it ever happen that able bodied people will realize the people with disabilities are exactly the same but for having a disability. A single mother raising four kids is a hero. Using a wheelchair and hill climbing or sailing in 25kts or grocery shopping makes me a guy who does those things and uses a wheelchair.
