Cute video! It's not really a good idea to let your pet rat outside, because a predator such as a bird or cat could easily nab it, and that wouldn't be good.

Wood shavings are bad for rats and will cause serious lung problems. And any beddings in general are bad because of all the dust and stuff that's in them. Please just buy some fleece/use old towels. It's cheaper because you can just rewash once or twice a week and better for your rats. Or rat, in your case. Please please please do some research on pet rats. There's so much you need to know if you want to be a good owner, and I'm sure that you do. (: It hurts me to see owners now know how to care

However.. is Kofii alone? That's not good, you should get your rattie a buddy... They're very social animals you can't keep them alone unless you're willing to spend 4-5 hours playing with your rat every day. Also, you should cover up all the mesh wire with towels/ old tshirts or fleece. The wires will eventually start sticking up and all the holes are bad for the rat as they will cause bumble foot. And lastly, please don't use shavings in your cage.
