The track should have the credits listed: The three members of the band BLITZKRIEG wrote it. One of whom was my song-writing and band partner, guitarist Ian Jones. Ian died in August 2009 from living a kinda 'Blitzkrieg' style life. He was wonderful all the way through to the end and much loved by Lars and James Hetfield. I don't think either of them loved me much!!! Still.. I love listening to the track. Ian used to play the riff for me when we were in the studio. Magic from his fingers.

Sorry to burst your bubble - but it's not.

The original recording of Blitzkrieg was done in 1984 as a part of the original "Garage Days Revisited" - a B-side to the Creeping Death E.P.

Then it was included on Garage Inc. in 1998 - hence, the recording features Cliff Burton on bass guitar. You can read about this in the liner notes of the Garage Inc. booklet as far as I remember...
