I handled Rex E168 for around 7 months as a certified patrol/explosive Team. I recently passed on Rex to a new handler as in passing the leash to the new generation of Military Working Dog Handlers. It was a great privalge being that Rex is truly a part of the "Dogs of War" era. Remember the fallen Sgt Adam L. Cann, Ar Ramadi, Iraq January 5th 2006. He fought the good fight and gave the ultimate sacrifice. Never forget the fallen.

he is absolutely beautiful is he german bred or american? i have a german bred shepherd i train him in agility search and rescue and some bite work they are such smart dogs.
you gotta be an MP first, MOS 5811 i believe, and then you have to apply and then be evaluated, tested, questioned, its a tough proccess i've heard cuz u compete against people from your own MP class and other MPs for 1, maybe 2 handler positions and there might be 10-20 other MPs pushing for the same spot
Invictus is right on with his reply. You have to be an MP 5811 and then ask to be considered for the MWD program, which you will then compete against others for limited spots.
I thought that was a normal greeting for a shep.
