The other species of chameleon such as the Veiled from the Middle East and Panther from Madagascar lay eggs. This is the only variety I know of that produce live young. Life is fascinating in all the ways evolution is allowed to take hold.
do they give birth to all the babies in one day or can they take more time? mine just had babies 6 they all died and i want to know if she might have more
Yes, Handsdown... it is highly recommended that you remove the babies from any adults you may have as soon as they emerge from the yolk sac. Adults think they're bugs and could possibly eat them... including the mother. Be sure to put them in a well ventilated yet well protected enclosure. Good luck!!!
