  • AGREE with all coments above :-))

  • chris..a bit chubby huh?

  • chris squire. what a b(a)oss.

  • those movements they made they released blasts of energy to destroy a planet, but they opened a black hole there first to release the energy to another planet very far away

  • 0:14 SONIC BATTLE

  • Steve is so deeply into his playing ,he didnt want any distractions....Chris!

The're both genius's and masters of their craft!!!

  • This has got to be the most epic battle scene ever?!, The way Squire walks up to Howe to pick a fight, then Howe defends his teratory and protects his young from the predator Squire....at the end it leaves Squire now choice but to retreat and go off to his pack!, amazing!, this could make an amazing documentary!!!

  • @TheUndertaker8 Are you serious?

  • That was awesome. Love how Steve's all "NOT IN MY HOUSE"

  • degni di olio e stanlio... nel senso buono naturalmente!

  • Two legendary goof-balls. Those "punk-rockers" who think prog-rockers take themselves so seriously should get a three-chord progression up their arse.

  • I'm a garage punk rocker myself, but I really enjoy Yes albums (say '69-'77)... in fact I discovered psychedelic/garage music when finding out where Yes 'came from' (The Syn, Bodast, Mabel Greer's Toyshop, Syndicats, Tomorrow - you name it).

IMO it's not the bands that took/take themselves so seriously - I mean, Rick Wakeman throwing in Jingle Bells doing his solo spot (in 1973!). Or take "Circus Of Heaven" on the Tormato album, I mean...

Prog FANS however can be terribly pretentious, OK?

  • @Bietel

Who you yellin' at? I agree. It's usually the fans of said genres who take themselves seriously. Nary the musicians themselves. I love Discharge and ELP and Anti-Nowhere League and Van Der Graaf Generator, etc.

My point is, punks in the '70s were sooo "open-minded" that most would not tolerate anyone who was proficient in their instrument. Prog-rockers with virtuosity-fetishes and punks with purist-attitudes are cunts - is the thrust of my cocky-comment. I was a bit to ambiguous.

  • ha ha he ha hee he

  • Haha during the Yesymphonic DVD Squire tries to play with Howe like this and Howe totally in a kind of bodily "fuck off" gesture. It's nice to see him interacting positively with other people for once.

  • @TrevRockOne *Howe totally refuses*

  • I love it when band members muck about. Awesome sauce!

  • Dig Squire's moonwalk at the beginning fo the video.

  • stop talking rubbish.

  • white men can't dance.

  • ¡¡YES!!

  • Chris doing one of his moves with Trevor but with Steve?

  • at 0:16, what the fuck

  • GORDO kkkkkkkkkk

  • I love when Howe kicks at Squire!!

  • el Wurm es historico en la historia de YES

  • hahah thats funny. chris did almost the same thing at the Atlanta concert last week.

  • There's some quite rude comments here, would you say these things to their faces?

Yes, lets face it,they would'nt put up much of a chase

  • Not content with being a better bass player than Greg Lake, Squire is also fatter than him!

  • We've all noticed Chris's girth - I at least have been saddened by it. I hope he'll be with us as long as if he was still ins shape - he does completely dwarf the Rick now (as to Lake, he's ballooned too).

If the instruments grew commensurate with their size, many '70's rockers would now be behind 4x8 sheets of plywood

  • who cares how much "fatter" squire got? or lake for that matter? theyre still awesome musicians.

    grow up.

  • kool.

  • yeah, wait till you get old! It's so hard to stay in shape

  • especially when you're rich and nothing better to do.

  • LOL i love Lake and his playing but that was too funny

  • Lake? Where's Lake?

  • i was referring to this comment

"Not content with being a better bass player than Greg Lake, Squire is also fatter than him! "

  • I think he ate Greg Lake.

  • that really made my day :)

  • @burlearth dude, no offense to greg lake or anything cause he, too, is a great bass player, but your comment just made my day.

  • Haha, What a crazy bastard Squire is. Look how small that bass looks in comparison to his body! The dude is a beast.

  • you should shake his hand, they are HUGE...

  • Steve Howe: amazing guitarist, but a bit on the eccentric side. Chris Squire: AMAZING

  • Haha I loved Steve when I went to see Yes! He made me laugh like hell considering how stoned I was. Considering doing crazy things, I was yelling at Oliver Wakeman, consistently telling him to do a crazy keyboard solo and telling him he's the man/god between songs.

  • lol idk why you got thumbs down for that! thats awsome!!!

  • I dunno either haha, that was a killer concert though, i feel sorry for all those who missed their tour dates due to mr. squire's leg surgery, they played stuff from DRAMA!

  • That made me laugh!

  • Fuck yeaaaah!

0:15 Come on Steve...bring it on man!

    LoooooL

  • Steve Howe sucks at acting :D

  • not 83 years old.. lmao. more like 60 ish. hahah

  • Looks like 83, but he's in his 60's.

  • I wish Luis Jardim still performed with them. And yes, Steve Howe is about 83 years old.

  • They're just old farts. I love 'em, what the hell.

  • Yes is an amazing band, BTW, has anyone else noticed that Steve Howe looks like he's like 300?

  • Sadly...after the Ascension sessions- I thought he was dying...I don't know why but he looks 90, and he looked great in 1996, even with Dream Theater in 1990 in an impromptu he looked ok. I fear for him, and Rick is not bothering with the new tour- so kiss that goodbye- YES I fear- is done.

  • Right on, I hope to see any 40th aniversary shows, Yes is truly one of the greatest bands of all time

  • Who give a shit about squires size? It is his music that counts

  • @stasie2159 well if he has a heart attack and dies from his size, i think that would affect the music just a wee bit.

  • @stasie2159 Yeah he's been in the band since day one. Damn it he can become fat if he wants to!!!!

  • If you look closely, Chris stops playing for a split second to notion for the little duel to begin, and Steve jerked back. It was planned.

Maybe there has been prior talk of them never interacting on stage...

  • Wow, you'll never see my old man move that fast.

  • the other half-tone in between

    bruford and white

  • Lee, darlin'...you know I need more than just a FEW seconds of dat ole Wurmjam! ;) Love you, buddy!

  • woow this is great... HAHA howe is co coool :D:D

  • I meant 'Chris is a ham' in a good way. I just meant 'he was actin' a little goofy'. I love Chris.

  • Yeah, just two musical genuises havin' fun!Chris is such a ham! You don't see that nowdays. Some musicians are way too serious. Have a little fun!

  • No hint to me that Howe was actually pissed off. Seemed more like a joke. It's sad to see Squire that big, though.

  • there are no guitar tabs on the internet for wurm theyre all wrong so ere it is.

  • Guys, Steve is smiling. This was a joke.

  • er...who said it wasnt?

  • I've been a fan for 35 years. Squire and Howe NEVER interact... ever. So this was an expected reaction from Howe for me.

  • No kidding. Howe's not some extrovert like Rabin.

  • Very cool! In all the years that I've seen YES live (from 1974 onward) Chris Squire has never gotten that close to Steve Howe before. Was Chris going through his 'Elvis' period? Looks a little podgy- but hey he's a bass guitar icon!
