  • This is just a tragedy on the scope of Pablo Escobar's hold on Colombian Government. And we all know what it took to end that tyranny.

  • If America would simply legalize Cannabis it would cripple the drug trade...It would also produce billions in tax revenue, create a multi-billion dollar industry over night that would employ huge chunks of people and it would save millions in court cost, free up room in prisons and many more positives. However, this makes too much sense therefore it won't happen.

  • True, just apply the same laws as with alcohol.

Alcohol is a more dangerous drug anyways.

  • @skydaddy, legalization would also cripple the law enforcement & prison industries aka. the govt protection racket. They don't want to empty prisons. They want as many prisoners as possible & to build more prisons, hire more cops, etc. All at taxpayer expense of course. The "War on Drugs" is big bucks for certain ppl.

  • @strstrngla VERY GOOD POINT! "BIG BUCKS for certain ppl" Like Dick Cheney's investments in private prisons would go belly up without the on going war on drugs. The privatization of our correction custody system is a nightmare!

  • @SkyDaddy7 Your right, but then the media would do to weed as they do to fast food industry....
