I am around level 42-45 and I have a 100 one-handed but my Chillrend does like around 40 dmg. I left it in my house and have not smithed it to "Legendary". Will the dmg increase as I use upgrades on swords for one-handed and level up higher or will it stay the same?

@pinoypanda44 chillrend doesnt level up its damage with you so it is recommended to get it when your one-handed is really high and your persons level is high so the base damage starts with a higher damage level.

@offroadpennies197 the base damage never changes. it's always 15 base damage but when you level your 1-handed up, it increases the damage. when you're level 46+, the enchantment is stronger (more frost damage).

or you can duel wield daggers and have a high sneak level and do 30 times damage and 1 shot dragons on master difficulty. its fun. also try windshear, it always knocks them down whenever you hit them while they are blocking.

And to add more god-like over power-ness, there's a glitch (Involving turning into a werewolf while simultaneously talking to your follower) and you can have multiple pieces of armor on on once. Including ones with fortify smiting enchantments and fortify one-handed enchantments. I don't recommend this at it will wreck the game, even on master difficulty.

i have 250 on both hands constantly without potions, your 215 damage swords are thrown away into some press in one of my many homes , also with my unchanted 221 dadreic swords and that wind shout for hands speed who knows what damge im doing enough to make a guard fly 50 feet into a wall. i wish i could post videos also im not done yet when i upgrade my minor smithing chain then it will be 260 in each hand, my max two handed is 255

Get a one hit power attack kill on novice difficulty is not that impressive as it can be done with most battleaxes and daedric weapons

@TheShamefuLL Get 160% fortify one-handed gear. 5/5 armsman perk and 100 one-handed. 100% smithing gear and 100 smithing. Make sure to have glass smithing perk and arcane blacksmith perk. Use a fortify smithing potion before upgrading. With this you should have 400 + damage without an exploits. There are glitches to stack all armor and get 1,000% fortify smithing potions. Spend enough time on these exploits and you can easily reach 10,000+ damage if not over 100,000. Just search for a video.

@BlackGale6969 actually u make 4 items with 29% smithing (ammy, ring, chestplate, and bracers) plus use a smithing potion that maxes at 130% and then u can put 4 enchantments of fortify single-handed on your stuff (ammy, ring, bracers and boots if im not mistaken) and ur really looking at ridiculous damage there is a video on alll of that called Skyrim Enchanting Guide HD by @staticbeepbeep
