I played a mage, and I still think that shattering darkspawns is the best combinations there is, though not that flashy. But still... a quick and clean kill. Kills, if your warriors help you shatter all of them.
One of the greatest games ever made! I actually shelve this game the first time around and played Demon Souls which in its own right a great game. But replaying Origins the second time and understanding the elements of the game, I was blown away but the depth of combat and the storylines. And i have to agree this game takes proper thinking and obviously time to really understand what the game objectives was. And not to mention the replay value is by far the best ive ever encountered.
@TTGxVS3 i think you need your eyes checked, because the WoW logo isnt white or red, has nothing to do with a blood splatter and doesnt feature a dragon anywhere on it. do you play either of the games? and last time i checked combat in WoW never has you above you in an above view controlling multiple units in a turn based strategy.

@DefourOwnsYa Then you aren't playing it right. The overlook camera and pause game option is still in Origins for the consoles, while it is a lot harder to play with it tactically on the consoles, it's still there.

This would be so much better if was an RPG like Fable and Divinity. I would of bought this but it just seems too much like WoW to me and WoW is probably the worst game on the market.

People, who liked Neverwinter Nights get lucky with this game, I think. I get it soon, too.
@XxDeineOmmaxX To be honest I liked NWN a ton but I wish they made games like these among the lines of BG2. I loved how they worked but eventually it seems like there were 15 moves in NWN empowering one sword or ability so to becoming the strongest you had to read a book before playing. I own NWN2 and it just went over my head. I wish I still had as much interest in these games and I probably will some day. It just seems I give up by the time I start. :(.

@soulfirebeyonddeath yeah , only too bad you dont have free roam , and once u finish the story u cant just go around slashing some darkspawn ass , that would have been nice, free roam and random encounters with ogres that want to rape you in the forest , at first u being weak running when u see them, but after u get strong them running from you :D XD
I kinda regret getting the console version instead of waiting and getting a better computer for the PC version. Oh well, I got a bunch of trophies from it. :D

Yesterday I thougt of Exchanging my Fallout 3 with a friend of mine and he said he would give me Dragon Age Origins........I thought it was a RPG game so it won't be that good............when I saw this and many other gameplay videos of Dragon Age Origins, I was conviced that I had no IDEA about this game...............One of the best RPG games of the Era and I'm getting it tomorrow!!!

The whole plot is nice, and so are the clips between. I could not really find myself in the gameplay though. Perhaps the next game released by the makers will have a good plot and good gameplay. :D
