  • try singing

  • If only we have more people like you in Singapore loving Beatles, then I need not to fret over finding musician like you! I need people like you into my band. (x

  • Yeah it sucks. I always hear from people on the other side of the world with the notion of getting me in a band. God I wish there there were more local people. I want to join a band soooo badly.

  • If only I'm living in the state now. But apparantly I'm on the another side of the world. We don't have hardcore beatles fan here though. Although I am one, which includes my dad is two. HAHA!

  • @jonbeatlesfan where are you at? im in virginia, but your probably in like california or something

  • im going to Singapore on wednessday :P

  • @Mrzakmacro You wanna jam? Hahahaa!

  • its a small world after all

  • bar the A then D open chord, then bar the G thats how lennon plays it

  • Yeah that's how I play it now. I sucked back then.

  • lol u never bar anything!

  • Yeah I know. I totally do now. I play Twist and Shout like every time I pick up a guitar and nowadays I barre everything.

  • I am a huge devoted Beatles fan and I think you do a fantastic job with their music. You seem to be having fun rocking out to this a little more than with other songs, and I enjoy seeing that.

  • Nice job, I personally use C, F, G as my chord progression, but I just got that by ear, so I'm not sure.

  • Right progression but do that 1 step higher. I've seen the beatles do this live and they do play in D.

  • correct. Lennon plays D, G, A.

maybe kelborn24 is in a different tuning so it seems like c,f,g

  • if you look carefully on the beatles when they played this song, george and john actually used bar chords, not open chords, but it still sounds good. a little out of tune but good! 5 stars

  • haha I know. I was a lazy nub back then.

  • your really good man

i actually posted a video responce of help! on your video of help! but your is definitly better!

  • might need tuning for this one

at the beggining george while playing the A major chord puts his litle finger on the third fret in the top string and then slides down the the second fret

try it, or watch my video of it on my country grentlemann

  • What is the unplugged sound of the Gretsch? Can you show me something with this? :)

  • I'm not sure what i would be able to show you, but I can guarantee you, it sounds like a regular acoustic. It has a little bit of a metallic sound, but thats because of the strings. The only reason that this guitar can double for acoustic and electric is because it's a hollowbody.

  • your really great! :]

  • Hah I'm bad in these videos. I haven't uploaded any in awhile but I'm still planning on it, and I have a bunch of really good songs I could do.

  • well i think your very good :]

it would be cool if you made more videos.

  • You know, i think I will tonight. I've been meaning to for awhile, but I could never find a good reason.

  • do you have an aim or myspace?

  • Nope. Never really cared about that.

  • oh mmkay lol.

  • Ok I just finished my next video. It took a lot of takes and setup to get the sound balanced right. Do you want me to tell you what the song is, or do you want to find out tomorrow?

  • oh ok cool, i know how you feel i always try to make singing videos but they turn out bad.

    :]

    sure what song?

  • It's not even Beatles , but I wanted a challenge so I'm doing Johnny B Goode. I'm also going to upload "You Really Got a hold on me", "All my Loving", and some other numbers.

  • oh cool those are great songs :]

you should start singing as well in your videos.

  • Hah if only I could. I don't look it, but my voice is past baritone. It's a totally bass. I can kinda sing, but it just wouldn't fit y'know?

  • oh lol you should just try to make a video of you singing and i will tell you if your voice is good or not.

    i bet it is.

  • you need tuning on alot of your songs though

  • Very good! Congratulations. Where you got tab for this song from?

  • I figured it out on my own. All it takes is a good ear, and listening to the song for an hour straight.

  • Good rockin' video, if you're ever able to sing the vocal cord shredding lead that would really be something. It's astonishing but reassuring that there are so many young and talented people doing beatles covers on here especially as John was taken from us way too early. Beatles music will help you learn to play melodically and tastefully, keep going the way you are and when you turn 20 which should be around 5 years from now you'll be a very good guitarist, keep up the good work

  • You made my day, sir.

  • nice guitar...I remember George when I see u playin' the guitar...XD..peace man!!

  • nice jon we should go to maywood my son

  • Do you really check my stuff every day Steven?

  • not everyday just that im bored today.

  • K then.
