I honestly dont think Lucian's dead.In the 1st movie he gets shot with a silver nitrate(dont know if i spelled right) bullet once, but before that, Selene cuffs Michael to a room and gives him a gun and tells him that if he starts to transform, to shoot himself once because single round wont kill him, just prevent the transformation. I dont know if they plan on bringing Lucian back ever again but unless it was their mistake, Lucian can't be dead.
