Yarn and knitting items are definitly cheaper online. Have you ever gone to the store and looked at the prices of GOOD yarn and needles? It's robbery.
I've also bought items for my apt with Matt. But I thought the smaller stuff would be cooler to put up since the bigger stuff would've taken forever to get into the room, lol.

I know what you mean though with prices in store VS online. For instance, it will cost you over $20 for 25 Feet of CAT5 Ethernet cable in a store yet you can buy 100 Feet of CAT6 Ethernet cable for less then $10 online. It's absurd.

Thats my fave place to buy yarn, lol. You know, you can buy yarn on ravelry as well from other people, kind of like EBay or BookCrossing. :)
