I understand the living food concept but there are so many foods that either need to be cooked or are digested and absorbed better when cooked. Also, I think that raw foodists spend a tremendous amount of time eating... Probably tough to get enough carbs and protein from all raw. For now I will stick with a cooked and raw diet combo. Amaranth ... I cook it. I've never seen it eaten raw. This is a very important food. A super food.
I love fruit, but I've never had durian, the only fruits I don;t like are olives and I'm not digging the papaya- but to be fair, I've only had it once, and it wasn't quite ripe
i've never had fresh durian but i loved the freeze dried. It was smelly but had a beautiful creamy, custard texture. Angela must be thrilled to have Kate there, i love her. You all look radiant and beautiful . The food looks deliciousss! xx
I hate the taste no matter how many times I try.....been mostly vegan for 23 years, no grains, beans or nuts for about ten years and all raw for a year, and had 15 colonics in 15 days, many juice fasts........still hate it. I think certain people just like it and some people don't. I never liked any of the sulpher veggies like cabbage or brussel sprouts either.
I was really surprised when i finally tried durian - the smell didn't put me off but the taste sure did! lol it tasted like off pumpkin with onions! lol ... maybe it's the sulphur taste that puts me and others off.....? good on you if you love the taste! :)
My God guidance is that is something doesn't smell good don't eat it. Because it is impure. If it causes a burning or heat sensation in the body it is not pure. We do not want food that causes stimulation our bodies need to remain at Peace if we are to move forward.
@sefirkus01 Well that means you should not eat anything. EVERYTHING has some kind of toxin in it to stimulate your cells because that's what they need to function.
@LordAngus1992 I am liquidarian and n the process at this time of becoming a Breatharian - believe me I have had enough experience with the vibratory action of foods to know what I am talking about.

For those who don't like fresh durian, the dried version is great.
I liked the dried version better. Same with figs, don't like fresh figs, like the dried one better.

It does not matter how clean you are, durian is an aquired taste. You can be raw 10 years and still not like durian.

Oh great, now I'm having cravings for durian AND Au Lac food. :-D If you haven't already, try the curried guacamole. It's amazing!

I got some at a Asian market. Some markets don't have them fresh, but do have frozen pods.
