i have found some interesting stuff in the same areas, first thing i look for is a paved road where a paved road should not be, (if its not paved it would give away if its being used for traffic) if theres a landing strip close by. I also thought since the gov dont own the land they would have no problem taking the land under it.

First of all, there is not a single physical, solid, tangible, irrefutably documentary evidence whatsoever that there is a physical underground base under Archuleta Mesa or under the Archuleta Mountain or anywhere in or near Dulce. There are tonnes of people that have videotaped there own little expeditions to area 51, but not one personal video of dulce. Also, there is not one personal picture at dulce on Google Earth!!!!

Thanks for your questions, Leckie. The bottom line is this: No one (that I know of) has ever been to the alleged physical underground base in Dulce. There is not a single photo of the interior of the alleged base. The allegations that there is a physical underground base under Archuleta Mesa (or Archuleta Mountain, on the west side of the Mesa) or somewhere in or near Dulce, are purely allegations. We simply do not know.

I'm looking at google earth right now and they appear as clear as day. The timbers(assuming they are timbers) are 45-60' long. If you adjust the angle of google earth, the hole looking spot is on the side of a hill. There is a road (jeep trail) that leads right to it. I feel sure if they were hiding 7 levels of aliens in the mesa, they would not cover the entrance with fallen logs. While I agree it's interesting to wonder about, have a little common sense on this one.

It's "piles" at all. Took us a while to find this. There are several areas where the swampy areas were filled in or at least attempts were made to fill them in. The whole story about the Dulce Underground base is all fiction! I have family there, too. The towns people don't say much. We're Native American and don't believe in the conspiracy theories though good for business. IF there were any truth to it you're looking quite a ways away from where all the attention goes!!

You do a pretty good job of using google earth. Try using the "terrain" option on the regular Map option. It's a low point well lower then 8800' feet, the elev. of the Mesa. Do you see the homestead of to the right about 22 miles away? That's where a family member of mine lives. The piles you are seeing is not timber, it's not an old homstead it's tractor/skidloader marks! Water is stagnant there and it was an attempt to fill it in so the cattle would not graze out so far!! WOW, what a laugh!!

Right were you have the "opening pin" I see a foundation I also see a foundation at the opposite corner. This just looks like a old long forgotten building like so so many in that part of the country. Mines to are all over. Does not look like a hole. The NW corner is higher then the rest since the sun sets in West it looks like a shadow to me. What time was the picture taken? I just looked at that area and all of the timbers are gone. It's just one big hole with what looks to be a burm of dirt around it. You can tell it is an collection point just by looking at all the narrow, semi travelled paths from tree cutters to the 'central' point.

These areas are where lumber clearing companies went in and selectively cut certain types of trees down. This is done very much to preserve the forests, and lumber companies still get the type of wood they bid upon from the Forestry Dept. I know this cuz I did this type of work in Northern Canada, and Washington State. Many times in a selective area, (as outlined by the seller), there will be 'rally' points to collect trees for transport to the mills. this is just one of those rally points.

In google maps, there are 4 other "holes" in this area that look similar to this one . The smallest is about 700 ft. to the south of this one, and there are 2 others near Indn Rte 140 just to the west. The smaller the "hole," the more "beams" it has.

The smaller the pond, the faster it freezes. The smallest pond here is almost frozen, and its ice lines look like a bundle of beams. As the ponds become larger, they have fewer ice lines. Therefore, these are most likely just ice lines.

my shrink doctor was talking to me about dolce new mexico and said he stayed at the best western and walked to the gas station a half mile down the road and he said the gas station attendant and him put their ears to the ground and heard trucks underneath the whole town and he said they were around 7000 feet below the surface and they believe that they are building an underground city there.

If you go to that spot on Google Maps today, the area is blocked out really big. Perhaps it is an opening for the underground that leads up to the Denver area which will eventually be where the new White House is when it's all said and done. Not so fast.  Although a Ms. Liz Allsop Gryphon commented that "this is nothing more than a pile of rubbish and logs....someone was trying to develop this area....there is a gate and a passcode is needed to get in...only a very few houses were built....it goes up the mountain on the eastern side of the ranger station", I still need a clear, surface photo of this spot.

Until then, anything is open to interpretation.

In addendum, you will notice the bare spots on top of the mesa. A large forest fire raged there several years ago, but it doesn't seem to have touched the curious spot mentioned.

Hello Greyeagle! The possibility is good, since i know a Ute tribal ranger who works for that part of the Indian reservation. She could tell me if it's possible or not. There are places in the Ute reservation that are prohibited from all travel, but not sure if this is one of them. I've even thought of sneaking in before the sun comes up, using backcountry skis, snowshoes or even a mtn bike in warmer weather. 8400ft elevation in this area has 3-4

feet of snowfall right now, and more on the way

Perhaps I am making a big thing out of nothing. But still, as long as I cannot get a clear photo of this area, my curiosity lingers on. I know that it will be difficult and quite time-consuming to actually go to this site but I definitely would like to get a clear answer on what this is. That's all.

@noriohaya It looks like an entrance of some sort because the angle of the lumber that is over the hole looks as if it is bending into the hole. It may just be the unclear view from Google Earth, but it is definitely worth investigating. Anyone want to form a search party and do some in person investigating?
