  • 65L ? :D

i have gas subwoofer 350w rms 12`` and my box is 52 L port 100mm X 140mm and this is ok.

    you need a 35-40 L box i think.

maybe i make a vid one day..

  • @UKFdnb bigger the box, lower the frequency, i love LOW bass and besides, bigger box makes more spl. but this box is old now, new one was even bigger and with a big L port. it was 70 liters, PORT NOT ENCLUDED. port was 100mm X 320mm and about 900mm long. that kicked hard, it was mindblowing with only a 150w amplifier. sub was way underpowered, but i didn't hear the distortion coming from the trunk on my audi, so it didn't bother me. the spl made my rearview mirror brake off the glass many times.

  • how many liters are the box on? and how deep does the bassport go?

  • this particular box is about 65 liters and the port is 100mm wide and 150 mm long. but surely i would wreckomend you a sealed box about 27 liters, with no port. the bass is a lot deeper and louder in that.

  • But build a sealed box. the bass is a lot louder in that. my new box is 1cu, ft or 27 liters. so double the capacity and u get a nice, loud and deep bass. Let me know when u finish it.

  • how many whatts is it?

  • 400 max, usual for 10'' subwoofers. but it bangs even better in sealed box i can tell ya that.
