the thompson on the cover of the game is the 1928 tommy gun but with the rectangular clip, the m1a1 thompson has the triangular sights and the bolt on the right side of the gun itself. the 1928 was used up until the m1a1 came into service in 1942

It was quite expensive though due to precision manufacturing and and complex bolt, etc. It went for around $209; quite expensive for one firearm back then. The U.S. then designed a newer, simpler version without the removable stock, adjustable sight, and Cutts recoil compensator, etc. The final variant dubbed M1 (the M1A1 had an even more simplified bolt design) brought the cost down to just $70.

People will maybe get mad about what I'm saying, but in BiA your partners are useful, your enemies are just accurate enough and more over there's a story...
