My first Touhou experience I saw was (Ironically) was the remix of U.N. Owen by cool and create, ain't that ironic, the extra stage boss on the first level?
the first touhou related image i ever saw was moukou on the world posing as mozilla firefox.i loved the image so i printed it.then i learned about touhou 4 years later,by a friend of mine who i dont see anymore which saddens me because i picked it up after he graduated high school.
My first exposure to Touhou was about two years ago when I saw the Tsurupettan video. I thought it was a cool song, downloaded it, and moved on with my life. Like half a year later (I had just started watching Gurren Lagann) I saw a Gurren Lagann parody of "Make Us Your Brides" and so I decided to look up the original and then I started to look up other Touhou stuff and I've been obsessed with it ever since.
the first i ever heard of touhou was through mugen. i downloaded a bunch of girls who shot colorful lasers and such and wanted to know more about them.
I was looking at caprihinas, and found a Cirno one. I thought she looked cute,and in the related vids was Mystia's theme. I listened to it, and searched up PoFV. That was my first Touhou experience.
My first exposure to Touhou was "Marisa Stole the Precious Thing". It's funny, because I don't support the pairing at all. o 3o No offense to those who do.
omg, I heard about touhou with Marisa Stole the Precious Thing too. My friend was playing it with his mp3-player and said "hey, listen to this" I liked it and asked and then he told me about touhou.
'sweets time' taught me of touhou, but I'd seen Marisa stole the precious thing before it and figured it was some DDR-like thing in japan and wasnt based on touhou

Well I was watching fan made videos of an anime I really liked and I came across a version of "Marisa Stole the Precious Thing", that was edited to have the characters from my fave anime in it. Well I wanted to see the original and I watched it and I was all like "....Huh? Who the heck is Alice? Marisa?? WUT????" So I researched the original, came across TouHou and now I'm obsessed. I have almost all the Touhou games now. XD

Its not an anime its a game, well it wasn't originally an anime but lately they brought out an anime for it, though only episode 1 has been made so far... But anyway it was originally a game :D
ZUN himself said he would never make an official anime to touhou, because he would be afraid that the story would be so good that there would be no way to branch off if and the touhou series would end.
The only reason why he does not shut down the fan anime, is because he is Japanese, and like all other Japanese developers, they don't detest fan work like westerns, but they imbrace it, and see it as a marker: "Oh cool, people like my work so much, that they made there own anime about it"
why does every time someone puts a question in a comment its a bad comment? asking questions is not a bad thing. they're just curious and makes touhou even more popular.

Hahaha, quick explanation, this piece of music most likely comes from the games and not the anime (which is called Touhou Anime Project), i'm not sure which of the games this piece of music would be from though. Oh and btw the anime only has one episode and is not made by the person who made the games, it is completely fan made and only has one episode atm. Is this what you wanted to know?

the 2nd episode hasn't been released yet, but it'll be next reitaisai or comiket. they haven't said when it's going to be released, but probably in reitaisai or C77, yeah.
This sounds a lot like the OP for Hidamari sketch, doesn't it? It could be just me, but some parts just sound too similar to be coincidental... and they have done a Hare Hare Yukai parody already...

heh, my 1st encounter with Touhou was video of IaMP match - Suika vs Yukari and the background music was Silver Forest - Tsurupettan.
After that i started to look info about the game and the music.
Before i even realized i had become touhou addict :P

The song itself is a vocal arrangement of Marisa's theme from Imperishable Night, one of the games in the touhou series.
