  • thank you for sharing this beatiful piece!

  • A''' on the baroque flute??? Whoa!!!

  • @Mariezee44 I posted my reply twice, but somehow they are gone. I am not a flutist, so I am writing based on my memory of the talk with a professional flutist. If memory serves me right, he said "the fingering are the same 'in theory', but baroque flutes lack the valve actions found in modern-day flutes, thus the playing is harder".

  • @Mariezee44 It's called "flauto traverso". It is one of the baroque woodwind instruments and the ancestor of modern flute made of metals.

  • Bravo!

  • a really good interpretation - i had listen it twice. the rhythmic coherence is maintained ok despite the interruptions in breathtaking, a thing that some cannot do at all... and what a lovely organ like sound in that flute... again, flautists should learn circular breathing to play this ;) it´s tough for flute, I know ...a lot easier for reeds and the brass. perhaps i´d like to hear this on organ by glenn gould to get it really straight. this man has the right idea though in my opinion.

  • The Sonate A Moll certainly is technically challenging, especially with breath control and tempo.
