I don't think supporting the "Palestinian Cause" is necessarily being anti Israeli and certainly not anti-semitic. Arabs are Semites too. I do get what you mean though, you don't like jew bashing neither do I. It's not good. George Galloway did look kind of bad when he was praising Hamas. It's one thing to give them medical equipment but completely diffirent to give a speech saying thet are, I still think he should have been let in to Canada. It was a purely political ban.
@gundamWWW I! It depends what you mean by the “ Palestinian Cause” ?
Israel is for giving them a state & as I understand Israel is working with the PLO in helping build a proper police force etc. to ensure their state is viable, when the time comes.
The cause of Hamas is to obliterate Israel & to kill Jews.
Well when I Palestinian Cause, I mean. The right of all Palestinians to have their own country with their own flag, a real seat at the United Nations. To have their own medical facilities, their own universities, not receiving assistance from other countries. Not being a puppet of Iran, Syria or another other power.
I don't like Hamas, but sometimes you have to talk with people you don't like in order to get something done.
I see a difference between talking with someone you don’t like and someone that hates you with every core of their being and wants to wipe you, your entire family and country and perhaps many others off the face off the earth. I think this would be extremely difficult for any Jew, and perhaps a bit cruel to ask of people with their history.
Do you also support Israel’s right to their own country and to live without the constant threat of terrorist plots and being wiped out?
Well of course I support Israel's right to exist. It's been around for more then 60 years, the people born there have a much as right to live there as anyone does.
My main concerns are
#1 Border issues
#2 The plight of the Palestianian people. Not Hamas, not Fatah, Palestinians pure and simple.
Arab leaders and other Arab countries say they are fighting for Palestinians, but they are using them as a puppet to futher their own means.
What has the average Palestinian done to deserve this?
@gundamWWW I totally hear what you are saying about the puppet thing. Unfortunately The Palestinian people did in large numbers elect Hamas, which of course lead to the the seize in Gaza.
So do the Hamas supporters not have to take any responsibility for their own plight?
Or do you think they have been mislead &/ or brain washed into believing violence, hatred & the destruction of Israel is the answer to their problems?
I feel very sorry too for Palls who want peace for both themselves & Israel.
Well when the Palestinian people have no jobs, no schools, no education, little hospitals and a bleak future they will turn to the politicians who will offer them help. Even if they are bad politicians.
Those politicians seem to be Hamas.
Same with Hitler in Germany. German people were suffering and a politicians promised them something.
Politicians will do anything to get elected, they will even let their people get murdered in order to harm their enemy.
@gundamWWW When people are totally unable to sympathize with Israel and their concerns
and tell lies and or half truths, and put the blame for the conflict completely on Israel, as most of the people like Galloway and others that say they are for “ The Palestinians Cause” do, what do you think their cause is if not meaning to stir up hatred and a thirst for Jewish blood?
Why does George Stroumboulopoulus keep giving this guy air time?
Calling him a supporter of The Palestinian cause?
If that cause is the annihilation of Israel, yes, but if there cause is Peace and a two state solution, then no!
Quit giving time to hate mongers - there is a Group called " Seeds for Peace" why does The Hour not get them on their show.
Why is The Hour so hell bound on increasing anti-semitism???

@gundamWWW for Jewish blood?
Do you know any groups who support the “ cause” that don’t put out onesided highly inflammatory
Anti - Israel propaganda?
It just keep the cycle of violence going and causes hates for both Arabs and Jews.
The cause should be peace and that will not come out of blame or hate.
Unfortunately many that say they are for “peace” in this conflict also just Israel bash, and confuse
good minded people like yourself as to their real cause.
