I understand exactly the same gymnastics in judo to avoid injuries and prevent fall on your back(points). Can someone explain me the need for rolls and jumps over your head, if you need to assassinate your target?!
As for the 1st movement, I would like not see the knee touching the ground. Better flip on the side and let your side+and hands absorb the force rather than just the knee and hands. The pressure on your body will then be minimal (pressure is proportional to the force divided by the area= small area too much pressure, big area pressure is less)... :-) Everything has its physics behind it.
Of course you have to find by yourself how this works (eg dont use your head AHAHAHA)
Now this is a useless talk about Bujinkan or non Bujinkan.I have seen Bujinkan teachers here in youtube showing videos on "how to" and I have seen them rolling and landing on their knees. That's for sure wrong because it can lead to unnecessary harming of your knees. It's not different "organizations" that makes wrong movements,it is the teachers' and how they got the black belt.
Ninjas should make their movements in a natural way and of course with the least action (or costs).I'm also a Bujinkan
Oh and for all the ppl that are fighting about whats bujinkan and whats not dont you think that it dsnt matter?? i mean in japan there were 9 or more ninja clans school or whatever you call them and did they have diffrent moves? i guess not only the specjalizations but theyre name was diffrent right ? the same is here i guess lets look at this as a whole and name it ninjutsu because now we all look like diffrent ninja clans wanting to kill each other here is that the point? lol xD chill out ^^
this kind of ukemi is modern we also do it in aikido , they claim its because of the matts modern mats , I sitll want to learn the old way of ukemi on real floor
Ukemi is a roll that belongs to any art. You should have done the complete Ukemi and not just flop on your back. Enetrtaining video but not quite educational. *bow*
@piracyd you think bujinkan is a original ninjutsu form?? guess again and read about it man Maasaki Hatsumi made bujinkan as it is now so i could also say its pathetic but i respect it if you writing shit like that than what can you possibly know about this martial art?? its suppose to be a way of life and yours seems a little off in this comment (no disrespect) and im maybe not some profesional in this but we gotta have more reason here let them call it whatever thouse who know will recognize
it's a style so...strange?, the ukemis are wrong, they must end with a kick. Your style is so teatral, not serious. (sorry for my bad english). What ryu is?
great taihen taijutsu tae sabaki tobi ukemi and taijutsu. your kameas are strong and good. great job and thanks for posting. 5 stars good to see real ninpo

pathetic. you took bujinkan's ukemi and kamae and yet calling that 'tetsu ryu'.
practice your stuff and get some balance at your movements before you try to claim a new ninjutsu.

I practiced ukemi on porcelain floor, without mattres, and it was okay. After a while, your body just get used to that.

magickaito89 2 years ago
@komandoism yes... it is for ninjutsu... learn your stuff... this is the ukemi that we use in bujinkan.... most of it

what do you mean by teatral style?
ezetaIV 2 years ago
What kind of Ryu ukemi they always end with a kick? I think it depends on the factual situation.
Nothing is ever good or bad in absolute terms, everything is always relative.

except that statement. *rolls eyes*
