Maybe I'm stretching things a bit and it's not actually ironic, but the lid color is called Shroom.... in that episode they're tripping on 'shrooms'... sorry I just noticed that ahahha. Anyways, I love this look, and I love Effie's character - so well-written. And I love Freddie..... which is really horrible for my sanity because of season 4's ending.... :'(

I love this look and I would love to see other looks from Skins. Some of the looks I would want to see are Cassie at the clinic in the first series, episode "Michelle" and Franky in the first episode of series 5, the black eye shadow when she comes to school the next day.

I've watched a couple of effy make up tutorials and so far yours has stayed the truest to the character...I love how you incorporated the light shimery hight lights on the upper lids...Through out most of the show thats how she does it. Only in a few scenes does she go all out with heavy dark shadow. However in a one scene in the woods they do a close up off her eyes and she has gone over the bottom lids with a light blue eyeliner combined w/ the black and it really make her eye pop out!

I know what you mean by Skins being "intensified" haha. Seasons 1&2 were really good. I think they just released the new cast of Skins recently and the kids look... pretty young and disappointing.

I just did this look today and LOVE it; however, I did use Benefits cream base in Strut and then UD Gunmetal shadow on top for a more "day" wear. You are such an inspiration to me I never would have thought to use such a light all over lid with these colors, but it sure does work. XOXO
