  • alexa is cute!

  • 1:54 around 300 pounds.

Is power lifting an open ceremony?

  • If you are a man who has never powerlifted, weightlifted or even done some isolation "bodybuilding" training. Then I have just one thing to say to you:

These girls, probably warm up with your max lifts.

What the hell are you still doing on youtube? Get to the gym and SQUAT!

    ---

No girl is hotter than a girl who lifts!

  • very nice motivation video ;)

  • Oh god, i cant wait!

  • and the band?

  • Does the IPF have a raw section (unequipped)?

  • @brasilcork

    yes

  • @matiasviiperi Thanks.

  • @brasilcork IPF has raw sections, but big meets like IPF World competitions always do in Equip.

  • @TheRingMaster2010 Thank you.

  • Did a see a wee woan benching 120kg there? well done to everyone in the video very impressive :)

  • @AndyHarglesis You are a fucking faggot. You try to live a fake life via youtube. You lie, deceive yourself and troll. Get back to reality you absolute waste of oxygen.

  • @MoogleMySenses It's called reality, kid.

Fake life? Must be your own senses then.

I live real life and in reality and I always have.

I have nothing to deceive or hide, and I do nothing but tell the truth.

Learn who I am, then judge.

  • @AndyHarglesis kid? you say you are 13, im sorry but last time i checked, that's a kid. you know you are a MASSIVE TROLL grow up and stop the lies, and next time you post a video of you doing pullups or bench press, try not to record it with your asshole.

  • @MoogleMySenses Someone is jealous. :P

  • @AndyHarglesis no buddy, you are officially hated on youtube, probably real life also so you have to result to trolling for attention, if the guy in your videos is you, emo, skinny and ugly as fuck. why do i have reasons to be jealous, you have nothing going for you. YOU MAD BRO!?

  • just a suggestion, they should try including push press/military press

  • More like gorilla/bull hormone infused homosapiens!

    Call the meds quickly!

Another one just dropped from STEROID ABUSE.

  • Take away ROIDS and maybe we can call it powerlifting then!

Until then, this is just a room with hyper-hormone abusing LOSERS.

  • @AndyHarglesis These clips are from the USAPL, which is a drug tested organization.... and is widely known by people who know anything as the powerlifting federation that tries the hardest to prohibit steroid use by their athletes.

  • @skatrman010 United STEROID Administration of Pussy Lifters.

  • @AndyHarglesis Whatever my steroided arm could rip you in half

  • @zasabiibasaz You mean that same arm that has zero mobility and you can't wipe your own ass with?

  • @ 1:29 "18 countrys @ north america" ???? WTF

  • FINALLY SOME LIFTS DONE THE RIGHT WAY ABOUT TIME. YOU SEE SO MUCH CRAP ON HERE LIFTS DONE COMPLETLY WRONG!!GOOD STUFF!

  • Ein wirklich gelungener Trailer !

  • 18 countries in north america? how does that work?

  • @yell0snow did you fail geography?

  • @klprothero I passed You failed.

  • 50 cent is in the audience at 36 seconds right in the front wearing green!

  • This video is bullshit; most powerlifters are complete assholes. Still, lifting heavy weights is fun as hell.

  • whats up blonde 0:03

  • 1:17 need i say more

  • Clearly this 'federation' or whatever is gay. Men in suits and skinny women being interviewed in order to get ridiculous one liners.

  • Nice video - but i didn't realize there was 18 countries in North America , LOL !!

  • That first girl is dreadfully attractive..

  • Alexa is very beatiful girl.

  • Olympic style weightlifting > powerlifting

  • @ThatZombieGuy13 you sir, are a big douchebag

  • @beoleo im only saying that olympic weightlifters can do either type of lifts but powerlifters would have allot of trouble with ollympic lifts

  • @ThatZombieGuy13 So why don't you wright that in the first place? Imo both sports are awesome... both trying to reach perfekt technique and maximum strength, but you got a point there^^

  • @ThatZombieGuy13 comparing oly weigthlifting with powerlifting is like comparing riding a motorcycle with driving a car. they're two completely different things, each of them difficult in their own scale

  • @krautstampflsepp ok ya i get wat u meen

  • im incorparating the deadlift into my workouts now very good for overall power

  • im 8 years old and i dont even take steroids, not even protein shakes, in fact no protein at all, thats for cheaters. i also lift with perfect form and total more than any of these guys.

  • those people look happy

  • 10 bodybuilders got really jealous cause Alexa can pull more than them. :P

Love the sport. I live for this.

  • Damn i want to kill that fuck of a bitch at 2:05... Thats why fuckin women destroy sports...

  • my first competition is in 8 weeks... im excited :D

  • @xxxjose213 Where will you be competing? Good luck!

  • @serbakovmarci im looking at one in new jersey, or one upstate new york, im from new york so, ill be in the 181 division...

  • i would be happy if this is healthy,,,,,, i like to lifting weights but i know it destroying my joints

  • @SamcoPowa You'll be happy to know that if done correctly it is healthy for your joints unless you already have pre-existing injuries (in which case you should see a physical therapist instead). Dont know where you get the idea that lifting weights "destroys your joints" smh

  • @findingtheroadback ok your oppinion :)

  • Lol - IPF trying to appeal to the masses - didn't expect to see that in my lifetime.

Of course, they're all a great bunch of people - it's a very tight community.

@ the uninformed: the people in this video are not users - you can tell that from both the weights and their physiques if you bother to get stronger someday.

Now when the lifters are twice as wide as these people from all angles, then you've found yourself a user! There's no way to squat 1000 naturally.

  • @NickRitchey I accept the challenge.

  • wooooo .. powerlifting is badass !!

  • ''i'm 13 and I don't take steroids or protein shakes or even food and i can lift more than twice as much as any professional because I have developed perfect form'' Why the hell are there like 40 comments like this?

  • @ghostsam24 He is just an annoying troll. He is lying obviously.

  • I'm clean, 13 and I do more than all of them with actual form. :P

  • @AndyHarglesis No you liar. Crawl into a hole, and die troll.

  • @serbakovmarci I suggest you learn who I am, punk .:P

  • @AndyHarglesis Hahaha, who are you? a pathetic troll, nothing more, you have no life, you just spam powerlifting videos, that is all you are good at. Hahaha nobody loves you.

  • This is steroid lifting.

  • damn these comments are horrible. especially the 13 year old that thinks he can lift more than these guys.

  • @EtchedInOak agree! i'm so sick of this shit....

  • @AndyHarglesis Go away you negative little shit. No one cares about how strong you are or what you do.

  • yeah... great, america centric video about powerlifting. like there was no more countries. you should have let RUSSIANS talk, they dominate ipf ranking.

  • @xghoulx Because russians speak perfect english right. Godamn.

  • how can there be 18 countries from North America?

  • @adjuvants12780 Theres actually 23 :p Antigua and Barbuda Bahamas Barbados Belize Canada Costa Rica Cuba Dominica Dominican Republic El Salvador Grenada Guatemala Haiti Honduras Jamaica Mexico Nicaragua Panama Saint Kitts and Nevis Saint Lucia Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Trinidad and Tobago United States
  • the ipf is full of a bunch of pussys these people are the resaon young people dont get trained right id like to stick my finger in the first girls butt thoe

  • @faronism young people don't get trained right because of the ipf? well i think you'll have to explain that... oO

  • Power-lifting is healthy? Lol, a couple weeks back when I did my last repetion of leg pressing, I almost immediately got a headache. First time that's ever happened from lifting anything. Hasn't happened again since which I don't know if it's because I was in unhealthy shape at the time and am now healthier or I haven't pushed myself quite as hard... I just wonder about that statement.

  • @esca8652 leg press isn't powerlifting.

  • @SKazclaw The same principals still apply. I wasn't trying to relate it completely to powerlifting.

  • Very nice video!

    Regards from Germany!

  • geared is true non geared is just raw

  • Please do not call geared lifting really powerlifting... True powerlifting is raw.

  • @YoungPLER True powerlifting is lifting so hard that it feels like your eyes are going to pop out of there sockets (a bit of a dramatization).

  • @esca8652 True, or when you start to bleed out of nose from exerting so much pressure.

  • @YoungPLER What!? I've never heard of that. I'd be freaked out if that happened.

  • @esca8652 I've seen people start bleeding from their noses when squatting. It is pretty intense.

  • north america: 18 countries... wtf north america are they talking about rofl there are 3 countries in north america...

  • @HillsideFights includes Caribbean islands

  • @jenderwear that is central america... lol

  • I can pull twice what she can with much better form at only 13, all natural, perfect form. :P

  • ^^THIS is steroids.....I do all natural powerlifting at 13, 1000% natural and never fail or need a spotter. :P

  • @AndyHarglesis If you dont need a spotter is because you are not pushing to the limit. ALso if you are gonna brag then post video and your lifting stats

  • Video power, liked the concept

  • @bryantp63

5 month old comment, but if you honestly believe guys like Ronnie Coleman do not take roids, you're an idiot. Plain and simple. There's a reason there are official "natural" competitions, and then the big boys like Cutler or Coleman. They take steroids, and a lot of them. Most bodybuilders admit to it openly after retiring. Zane, Arnold, Priest, etc.

As for power lifters -- the 1000 pound benchers and squatters certainly use as well.

  • "Lifters must decent below parallel" ---> I wish kids at my school understood this lol. I SQUAT 315!!!

    Cool...

#1 - not impressive at all

#2 - You do half squats to shut the hell up.

  • No gear lifting with normal width stance SQ and DL is true PL and cool. But lifting with too much equipment and show range of motion(especially Asian powerlifters) is fake.

  • Лифт это суппер это великий спорт! Я горжусь тем что я лифтер!

  • chick in the beginning was hot

  • Btw not bashing geared lifting at all, just saying.

  • powerlifting is the best sport ever.train hard

  • umm its not a test of your strength if your using a bunch of gear to make it easier for yourself...bunch of cheaters

  • I am so sick of this "it's cheating" bullshit. It is a test of strength because you are competing against other IPF lifters in the SAME 1 ply gear, not with what you lift in your gym. The IPF scrutinizes everything down to your shoes, belt thickness, wrap length etc, You are grilled by 3 judges to make sure all lift within strict rules that are fair. People do this for love of the sport and competition, not to crush egos in gyms.

  • @cjblazer385 true words, totally agree with you. 95% of those guys bitching around about gear didn't lift even once with equipment... the remaining 5% are Powerlifters who are not getting anything out of shirts and suits.

  • @cjblazer385 Sorry but if you compete in the IPF and talk about passion, fun and anti-egoism... Then why do you take Roids and Growthfactors etc? This has got nothing to do with a healthy human mind, but with lack of confidence the need to proof somethin to others. I do NOT mind taking roids etc, but people takin it know for sure that it is not healthy and means a lot more than just passion...

  • @volksfeind1 Well I was not referring to drugs; I meant gear as in shirts, suits etc. But personally in my 17 years of lifting I have never taken a thing. The IPF tests fairly aggressively (up to a year randomly after a comp and immediately after a record). Some other feds do not test and so make a better fit for those who do go that route. My point was that PL is more than just egos and it is not the same as just out benching someone in a corner gym. IT is a very misunderstood sport.

  • @iKnockturnal The gear is mainly for safety reasons, unless you think its wise to put immense strain on the body with no safety.

  • @xNewAgeWarriorx

If gear was still for safety reasons we wouldn't have equipped and unequipped divisions...

  • @ElGrandeJiP Well most powerlifters have joint damage later in life, I'm sure using some equipment would curb this.

  • @iKnockturnal shut up, having some chalk on your hands or a different pair of shoes doesn't do much, and the other competitors have the same opportunity to use those things.

  • that alexis girl is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that makes me want to go smash a car 8)

  • It's a wonderful sport. :)

  • News flash: Ryan Kennelly sold FAKE STEROIDS! Kennelly was arrested again for selling narcotics and bottling fake counterfeit steroids. Goes to show a small man in a big body known for lying and scamming. Kennelly lost all his sponsors because he was a slandered them.

Kennelly's DRUG BUST is all over the news now.

  • @MutsuKazuma you don't know noting about powerlifting!

  • damn were can i meet these girls hahah

  • it's very healthy, bullshit , nothing that is done as competition is healthy for you joints especially not hardcore powerlifting, training for it on a normal level is healthy, doing bench presses with that wrist position is not healthy at all, it's to press more weight with the chest, not to get a healthy body

  • @MutsuKazuma You're obviously saying that because you're a skinny dipshit who can't even lift a can of soup. Seriously, shut the fuck up.

  • @GabrielGaleano I do 330lbs squats, without belt, suit or knee bandages, and I bench press without wrist wraps, deadlifting with the suit lets you lift more weight, but your knees are not stabilized by your own muscles it's the suit that lets you lift more weight, so the healthy aspect is bullshit as soon as you start to use gear

  • @MutsuKazuma Hey man. I'm sorry about what I said. I take it back. I thought you were just a troll posting crap here. But I stand corrected. :)

  • The ONLY thing I don't like about the IPF is the colored plates....I HATE THOSE!!

  • I was waiting for it to cut to some heavy ass metal and watching powerlifters scream and bleed for the sport.

It didnt happen and now i've got this sick feeling.

  • super

  • Eleiko Sweden!! :D

  • This video is too mainstream.

  • i love this sport, i makes u a true man with nothing but pure strength. I messed up my back 3 weeks before my meet doing deadlifts so currently recovering my lower back. Its so hard not to powerlifting no more i feel weak and incomplete, but when fully recover imma hit the weights twice as hard.

  • when you think pro athletes, like micheal phelps, usain bolt, first thing that pops into your mind is - Steroids! first thing you think about when you think about any power lifting / body building etc = super duper overdose steroids!!! siffff man!!!!!

im sorry if you are a non steroid pumping junkie doing this sport, cuz most of your team mates are giving you a bad name !!!

  • @Icanliketobewearing What is wrong with steroids? Its not cheating unless your competing as natural. Steroids aren't as big of a deal as the media makes them out to be.

  • Powerlifting..

    Best sport ever.

  • can you pick me off the ground alexis :)

  • @Anarki23x obvious troll is obvious

  • @Anarki23x are you fucking kidding me...

  • @Anarki23x

    Stupidest thing ever.

It's proven that dead lift, with the right technique, is very good for you'r back. That said however, these are athletes on a high level, and a normal person should stick to lower weights of course.. :P

  • @Anarki23x Obviously trolling.

  • @Anarki23x you need to study more, i agree that yoga and all that stuff is good but deadlift with a good techinique doesnt harm you, i ve been doing this for a long time and ive never harmed myself so keep reading some more greetings from mexico IPF MEXICO

  • lol pause at 04:00. xD

  • im 13 only weigh 202lbs of dope-free power and i can dead lift 616lbs with perfect form, close, right, perfect stance and i stay AWAY from dangerous needles and harmful supplements! :)

  • @13andincrediblycut video please

  • @13andincrediblycut why are you people always 13? everytime i watch videos about powerlifting or benchpress i see dozens of comments just like yours here and they are always from 13 year olds...look, i am a powerlifter and maybe you don't lie but why didn't i see very young people lifting that kind of heavy weights at the german powerlifting championship (IPF)? there must be something wrong with those statements....

  • @13andincrediblycut your full of crap no 13 year old can do that your full of s***

  • Whats Alexis full name? The first girl? :) She's adorable.

  • @Jokk3asd her name is Alexa Schillinger :-))

  • @hotmauro76 Thank you a lot :)

  • did she say powerlifting is healthy?!(RETARD)

  • @csplayerforever Ehm, well. It is. Go play cs moron.

  • @csplayerforeverGO WATCH OTHER VIDEOS YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT,

  • im 13 202lbs of dope-free power(check my articles to learn more)and i can deadlift 616lbs raw with diamond perfect form and close stance. :) no sumo stances or straps! :)

  • World's greatest sport "POWERLIFTING". Competing at IPF contest becomes addictive because of mutual respect within lifters and officials.

  • World's greatest sport "POWERLIFTING". Competing at IPF contest becomes addictive because of mutual respect within lifters and officials, It is very hard to quit.

  • the wide barbell grip kills ur damn wrist

  • this is a great clip of powerlifting, it wraps everything up in a short clip and why isnt this a olympic sport? I love powerlifting, and i hope i can compete one day in the IPF... and that alexis girl is so hot n cute.

  • POWERLIFTING!!!

  • what's the song

  • powerlifting! LO MEJOR

  • 1:18 - that woman was like "holy shit"

  • I love this sport !!!

  • Equipment is the problem in powerlifting. They need to get rid of bench shirts, squat suits and deadlift suits and and they need to make all 3 lifts raw only, and then people would recognize this great sport. There is no way of telling who is the strongest lifter when someone can get 70kg+ w/ bench shirt and someone gets only 30 kg because of the difference in shirts. Squat suits are the same. Equipment gotta go

  • @nonameplayer I spent a year with a nasty shoulder injury from a “raw” lift. Why risk injury every time I compete just to prove to something to those who never take the time to understand equipment and who do nothing to support Powerlifting anyway. I find 98% of equipment critics are just such people and whose opinions I could care less of. The IPF allows only 1ply gear of a specific type, you lift in the IPF and you are competing in one of the most fair, balanced and safe competitions available

  • @nonameplayer Agree with you. What for hitech shirts? Lift 700 Lb instead of 1000, less weight, it's true, but then you'll be able to say: Yeah, i lifted 700 Lb! Saying that one lifts 1000 Lb is a deception, cause he uses an equipment, it's not the true weight his body can handle.

  • @valgez I agree with that, good comment.

  • anyhone knows that song? :)

  • why is powerlifting not olympic instead of weightlifting? its simple and the perfect workout for EVERYONE. it should be teached at school, best overweight prevention. olympic weightlifting is terribly difficult and hurts you body to much.

  • @wullebulle123 That's why it's called olympic, dude, because it's plain hard, harder than powerlifting

  • I hope this video helps promote IPF powerlifting. It is a wonderful sport with alot of great people!

  • Comment removed

  • That hurts my back just watching it.

  • @donpoppito you probably never tried to deadlift or to squat ;-)

  • @moflavour No because it would hurt my back. And i have a bad back.

  • @donpoppito

Many people have cured their back problems with deadlifts. You might wanna give it a try. But learn it either at a powerlifting gym or get the book "Starting Strength"...

It IS healthy, provided you learn good form and do not overtrain/underrecover.

  • The true sport of pure strength, it is so unfair that it is not
