yeah the mixer is a DENON x120 - a simple two channel mixer - i grew up using technic turntables and now of course CDjs but With ableton i route the channels from my computer into my denon dj mixer - its way better feel than a midi controller IMO . ive never use serato but i know they just team up with Ableton and have something big in the works . thanks for the comment
Hey ! This might be a noob question but can you mix in Ableton by using mp3s ? Coz I always use WAVs coz mp3s in my desktop and folder doesn't tend to show up in the browser. Hope anyone replies.

yes you can . With Ableton you can drag and drop MP3's into the program and play right away ...
