Great car, I have a 2008 328i, and i absolutely love it. Not worth trading for a 2011, my "08" has more upgrades then that loaner "11'. the few cosmetic changes isnt worth trading for. BMW for life.
Great car, but there's really no need to get the x-drive unless you live in Maine. The rear-wheel drive model is perfectly fine in bad conditions and is definitely faster if not by much.
Of course it's not as nice as the coupe, I just got a 2011 coupe m package and it's just amazing and no one can say a sedan can be better then a coupe, BTW

I'm shopping for a new car now...drove a 335i and loved it, but afraid of the reliability issues (fuel injectors, fuel pump, etc.). I drove a 328i and liked it, but a bit slower than I really want. I wonder what the 328i will be like with the new 2.0 turbo engine they are coming out with in 2012? Has your experience with BMW been positive? Reliable? I also like the Lexus IS350- very reliable and more luxury than a BMW, but lacks the German feel and handling...
@chadley6916 I am pretty sure they addressed the fuel pump issue for the 2011 production year all of those models should have the new pump right out of the factory so you should be safe with a 2011. I have had no problems with my car just some minor interior trim pieces had to be replaced due to wear (shift knob and driver side window switch) and that was under warranty. I too test drove the IS250 liked it but I agree it lacks in handling.
@jayc5764 I'm pretty sure the 2011s have the N55 engine which is not associated with the twin turbo N54, which is the engine that had the fuel pump issues.
@chadley6916 If u don't need to get one now, I'd wait. Looks like 2.0 turbo should be out in Feb/Mar of 2012, with more hp (240) than 328i and lots more torque (260 - not as much as 335i, and nowhere near the 335d). Coupled with the 8 speed autobox, I'm guessing 5.5 sec to 60 mph and 33-35 mpg rating for highway. If u want to buy now, check out the 335d. Slightly quicker than the 328i and feels LOTS stronger than the 328i in anything other than hi-rpm. IS 350 is fast, reliable, but old.

I believe th 17" wheels come with lower profile tires....do you find it makes the ride less smooth ? (love the handling of the 328i, but want to avoid the stiff suspenstion ride of the sports package). Thanks.
The suspension on my coupe is a lot stiffer and from my experiences after driving both, the coupe's handling is far better. But don't get me wrong the sedan is a great car it rides a lot smoother but still handles well. I love them both BMW FOR LIFE!
