brother this video is quit helping i want you to correct me if i am mistaken ..all i need is a wii remote and a blue-tooth to connect the wii remote to my PC as i saw in your other video and two or four led lights. and that... wii remote is going to work as an wireless mouse (just like the mouse pointer on PC) and i can operate my computer as well as wii games on my PC with it am i right ?? if there is something that i miss then please let me know it will be a pleasure thank you
Well, any yellowish light source sort of "emulates" infrared light, so candles WILL work as a sensor bar when places the correct distance apart; I've known this LONG before I found it on the internet LOL!
There are two ways the wii mote detects motion: 1. through sensor bar, 2. with the built-in 6-axis accelerometer that senses acceleration in all direction and orientations in 3D space. So when the sensorbar is not in view, the wii mote can only rely on method 2.

Well how do you explain when the wii sensorbar sense the wii mote when you turn away the black thing?
Wouldnt it be pitch black for the camera? Instead of 4 white dots in 1:40?

Okay, thanks for the explination

so method 2 isnt as reliable as method 1?

i think that's the view from the camera in the wiimote , it only see's and/or senses the 4 dots on the Sensor bar

well, pretty much for the sensor bar.
Laptop (or desktop pc) is needed to run software/games etc..
