  • THE 1500+ PASSENGERS WHO PERSIHED HAVE A FIRST CLASS TICKET TO GOD.

  • what are the black spots on the bodys

  • @thetitanicisdead I think its either lividity or frost bite. Or both.

  • i can't believe it. even after these people died they were still taking better care of the first class dead passengers. that is so disgusting. a real coffin if u are first class a bag if u are lucky and 3 rd class. i am so disgusted by human nature and the filthy greed of people and how they respond to people with money. my stomach is made sick by this. was the baby treated like garbage too as he was a 3rd class passenger ?

  • The Titanic tragedy bought sweeping changes to the social climes of the day. It is unfortunate that it took such a horror to bring it about. I live near Halifax and if you have an opportunity to come here and visit the graveyard I promise you it will be unforgettable. The experience takes history, images, stories and brings it to life as you stand mere feet away from those laid to rest.

  • The little fair hair boy was a finnish. Bornt at ostro bothnia, Finland. Not an english. As someone told in here before. His story is rather similar than the story of swedish family's. His father too moved to America earlier, earned some money and sent it his family back in Finland to come. The wife had 4 children and a serving girl with. Only the serving girl was saved.

Anyhow, the blond hair. "Our baby" is finnish. And by now there should be his real name on the headstone.

  • 100th anniversary this year

  • 7:17-8:00...back when humanity had a soul

  • Me as a mom of 4kids four i wouldn't imagine her fear for her kids and being helpless ....i cried when they show her story as the ship was going down.... rip dear babies!!!...

  • wow...figures that graves were full of WATER.

  • it pass almoust one century of this tragedy and still is sad even now:(

  • wtf first class got on the boats first and first class got coffins but no second and third class got the last of the little boats left or went under with the boat and second and third class didnt get coffins just stupid fucking canvases so i guess they were buried together with no proper burial fuck them they all shouldve been counted equal they shouldve had more boats too stupid ass holes and all the kids shouldve went first no matter the class then women then men then crew stupid bitches

  • fuck 1st class

  • not trying to be mean or funny.

but its a bit ironic that they couldn't get the DNA samples due to water,

and just in-case u don't understand it was the titanic and they died in water so it is kinda ironic

  • I just can't stop thinking of how terrified those poor people must have been... especially the children. Those poor angels </3

  • this reminds me of my dad. :( my dad died. so deth is more sad to me than to most peple

  • i think it's a huge shame how in times of need people still dare to hold on to the class system. Save yourself is the matter in cases like this in my opinion.

  • ghost are not real

  • wouldn't the families want to bury them? why dump them into the sea?

  • ...Lady what the-- Those papers better have been DAYUM important. e_e

  • @ 1:51 .....how did they get that footage?????

  • @ValtronW That was footage from the movie A Night To Remember not real footage from the sinking they didnt get any footage of the real sinking.

Bobo!

  • I heard in another documentary that they did not treat the 3rd class like crap untill the sinking began.

The stewards wouldn't open the gates for them, those who were still below deck.

  • Thats terrible that they have this big hope all of a sudden of finding a lost relative and then they find that theres nothing left. That dissappointment must be heartbreaking =/

  • Wow..this is Amazing, this is very intesting how there able to identify these bodies that are SO old.

  • wow...they just ddnt give a shit about 3rd class.....smdh

  • its so nice what they did for that boy

  • Did he say that the name of the boy was Gösta?

  • @Frajdsson

Yes; the Unknown Child was thought for many years to be Gosta Paulsson, a two year old third-class child, but as of 2007, DNA results indicate the boy is Sidney Leslie Goodwin. He was 19 months old, and a third-class passenger, along with his five siblings and parents. His is the only body in the entire Goodwin family that has been recovered and identified.

  • @Frajdsson

    that is what i heard

  • Maybe the little child's Family died with him-Surely if he had any living relatives they would be there?

  • :/ that's horrible that they couldn't find out 2 out of 3 of the bodies for those families.

  • Ofcourse 3rd class (steerage) were treated differently than 1st and 2nd class passengers. The word "class'" to begin with explains that on its own. Something us humans unfortunately do.

Priority first for the wealthy! 1st and 2nd class passengers came well before that of 3rd 'class'...so don't try and convince me otherwise. How sad that humans "class' one another!

Tragically....WEALTH did not save many lives on that fateful night...you are born into the world bare & you depart as such.

  • @JojoplusBo You should know that 3rd class passengers on this ship were treated better than 3rd class passengers aboard other ships. The way Titanic treated them was NOT the standard of the time, it was the exception. Although the wealthy were given priority when they abandoned ship, you must also remember the societal ways of this time. Whether or not you think it was fair will not change history, and now it doesn't matter; all victims are treated like a first class passenger now.

  • @itachisaysusuck Yes, you are right...we can't change history and I'm pleased that we have learnt lessons from the past. Now, I go back to my history books and do a little 'revising'....thankyou for your kind reply :)

  • ok i'm a bit confused..they sent this ship out with the mission of retrieving as many people(bodies) as possible 2 days after the Titanic sank right? Then why did they run out of body bags and have to bury some of the people at sea(the same people they just pulled from the sea)? Did they not know the number of people who went down? Also was only one ship sent to retrieve bodies? if so then why, why not 2 or 3 ships? Why was there a time issue to retrieve bodies? If anyone can clarify please do.

  • @JemimakittenCat i think they buried some people at sea because the are hard to identify or no ways of identification at all (some maybe decomposed badly already). there were several ships w/c the White Star Line payed to retrieve bodies .The Cable Ship Minia, Cable ship CS Mackay-Bennett, some ships picked up bodies when they passed near the vicinity of the sinking.

  • my nans dads uncles brother was on the titantic, he was a very young about 3 years maybe younger? he was never identfied nor on the passenger list

  • I'm disgusted. Yah, just throw bodies over the boat just because they were 3rd class. Horrible. Just horrible

R.I.P. to all who died :'(

  • @VladTodGirl123 let me place your heart at ease. you have to remember that if you many bodies decomposing like that it is a recipe for disease to break out. Is it fair that priority was given by class? No of course not, not by our way of thinking today. Just remember this was 1912 and class defined you then. Think how hard it was for the men tasked with this job. Look what they did for the baby that shows how they felt.

  • How horrible. Its hard to watch. Those poor people.

  • One reason that most of the 1st class bodies were recovered and identified was for insurance and inheritance purposes...at least that was what I was told.

  • @Tyrunner0097 Probably true.

  • If i died on titanic last thing i would want is to be put back into the water.... So sad just because they had less money than others they didn't get the same respect as a human should get...so sad

  • the whole water flooding, even the graves of these poor people is just eeeeeeriiee!! omg!

  • this is tooo sad to watch!!

  • that class stuff was such BS, its disgusting the way they treated 3rd class passenger, to think in a situation thats a matter of life and death they were still going according to class instead of looking at people as human beings and just that cause more first class men survived than 3rd class children, which is quite sad and its still something that happens today, maybe not according to class but the rich, famous and powerful is treated better than everyone else

  • august wenestrom was with the lindells not the paulsons

  • they should have let the younger children go first not a giant rush on deck. there are more important things in life than running around and screaming like mad :(

  • @sweetiegrl41 yeah younger kids then men and wormen.

  • How sad, such adorable children, beautiful women, and handsome men died :'(

  • what? a chance to escape this big s** sinking ship? sure, but just let me go grab my papers first, after all, we arn't in a hurry now are we?

  • So sad. I can't imagine going through that, and having to hold my son through it 'til the end.

  • Women and children first...... BULLSHIT, more like first class passengers first, it's sickening. The first class passengers are the same as second and third class being human beings. They are no different. It makes me sick especially all those children perished. Makes me angry.

  • @pilotette Stop trying to apply the values and norms of 2012 to 1912. It does not work.

  • @pilotette YUP you are right first class lost one child 3 class over 50 titanic film was spent on jack and rose only now are true facts becoming known and what truly happened not the Hollywood version of events please read titanic the ship that never sank by ROBIN GARDINER and his other books.AND look out for money makers this coming year kind regards

  • @pilotette The highest death toll by class was actually the 2nd class not the 3rd class as many would believe.

  • @pilotette

Money talks. Even now a days. At any kind of disaster, the people with money will have more chance of survival. The Titanic, should however had enough "Emergency Boats" for ALL passengers, and the crew.

  • @pilotette Makes me angry as well. However, it is how the world works. If it worked on the way, wich looks what would be best for this world, we would have been even more technological advanced. But its mostly about money, not about the future. Just thinking about it, makes me angry. Will it ever change?

  • @pilotette There was very many reason why things didn't work out.. no evacuation plan, not enough lifeboats, not filling lifeboat capacity, no lifeboat drills, a way to more or less save the 2d and 1st class passengers and do away with the lesser of the classes...breaks my heart!

  • how the heck did a puddle of water just stay there.

  • Well...! This proves that our physical remains will all eventually end up in the same class one day!

  • I hate rich people who think their lives are worth more than others, dusgusting

  • @Senka73 I hate rich people full stop! =D

  • @Senka73 I agree and I think that it's sad that 100 years after the Titanic that mentality still exists.

  • Even in death, there was discrimination! Many were returned to the sea ! :(

  • I agree , they had no right returning any bodies to sea and because of what they did many of those people returned to sea will never be identified nor will they have a proper burial and the families will never have closure

  • The saddest story is the 2 year old unknown child who turned out to be Sidney Leslie Goodwin

  • if they put them back in water then there was no point in taking them out

  • its so sad :'(

  • This was really interesting! Thanks!

  • "... the graves were flooded ..." I gasped at that -- what horrible fate, that even in death, they are drowned.

    *chills*

  • I noticed that. Very sad

  • I know....how awful. :(

  • @ParaGlitter -- I know. I thought the exact same thing. How horrible...even in death.

  • this is sooooooo eeeeeek!!!!!!! i hope your old familys who died on that night will aways love you no matter what!!!!!

  • How sad...:(

  • the way they treated the people in third class cabin is just very unfair. they are all humans and their lives is as valuable as those who is in first or second class. this is really sad.. all those people who perished..its a slow death. =(

  • @yanhedz That's the sad yet undeniable fact of how the lower class was treated at the turn of the century back then. Whether anyone likes to acknowledge it or not, by the aristocracy of the day in Europe, they were just that--the lower class. Sheep. Cattle. Faces without names who worked their mines, maintained their factories and built their vessels. Numbers, nothing more. You have to understand, at the time, these people were little more than modern-day peasants. Doesn't justify it, though.

  • I know you posted that 7 months ago,but the third class gates were locked then and the Officers didn't even open them and most of third class died by that.

  • @yanhedz It's very unfair...the more money you have, the more respect you have.

  • @yanhedz

Worse still people are still treated in this manner to this day.

  • @MrKillswitch88 Yes we are. You would think that people would change after something like this, and grow a damn heart develope some sympathy. People just dont care about anyone but themselves and the so-called "Richie Riches" of the world. what bullshit. It really ticks me off. Humans are only humans if they have alot of money. What a world we live in.

  • @AshleyWilliams19

"Your money can't save you no more than it can save me"

  • @MrKillswitch88

"Your money can't save you any more than it can save me." ( :

  • @yanhedz It would be the same now... the world did not change from that time....

  • @yanhedz Thankfully times have changed..somewhat.

  • @yanhedz

while i agree with you, you have to understand things were different then. you cant expect people 100 yrs ago would understand OUR ideas of human rights.

  • @yanhedz your an idiot at that time thats how it is and money talks always u idiot

  • i will now take this moment 2 pray 4 all those souls of fathers, mothers, children, uncles, aunts, cousins, EVERY single person who died on the wonderful ship, the titanic, rest in peace, and be in heaven and being happy. :')

oh boy, here come the water works....... :'(

i'm sorry.... but this is SO sad.. :(

  • Amen sweetie, I totally agree!

  • thanx :)

  • i cryed at this it's so sad :'(

  • this story is so sad ! my all there souls rest in peace

  • this is so sad!

  • they really shouldn't throw some of the bodies at sea! =(

  • How ironical that the graves are full of water... :-( So sad...

  • @Luka78nl I was just thinking the same thing.

  • @Luka78nl --as if even in grave they reminds us of their tragic faith..

  • @Luka78nl That....is a great point. Wow. I never would have thought of that. You're so right.

  • @Luka78nl *ironic

  • Wonderful.
