It was so exciting to click on this and discover what song you're using for this one, I LOVE this song! And Dance in Film 2 seems even better than one, and that didn't really seem possible, I just watched it twice and moved onto this one. I'm glad you didn't give up after your first video was taken down. You Tube leave these alone!!
Just one more comment. Since you are showing all important movies where the dance is fundamental, why not use the hindi film Saawariya on your next video?
Loved your homage to dance in film 3. I particularly liked the All that Jazz sequence; Tina Turner in Tommy; and of course the Val Kilmer moment from The Doors. And yes, Rick: you made me smile... and dance too. =) Thank you, MrShowcasecinema! Really enjoyed it!
So fabulous. So sexy. You should be making oodles of money with this skill. (BTW, let me know if I need to do anything to get to full screen--I agree it's best for my stuff.) You're brilliant, my friend.
Very well done and choreographed - edited with musicality and skill -- I did a similar one but this is something else, would love to do a response .....
Ok, this is maybe one of the greatest videos in youtube. i loved the most : the song, that bit from showgirls (i always thought that i'm the only one in the world who sees the dancing there great !), the Indian bit too. i hate that you didn't see any dance from any movie from Egypt. at the 1940s and 1950s there was a golden age there for dancing, see yourself in youtube.
I have now watched all 3 videos thus far, and they were all way out man, as they used to say in the flowerpower epoch, I intended to comment on one and two, I even placed 1 into favorites, and I am sure 2 went into great you tube playlist, were I place only excepionally good videos, Thank you for making number 3, or I would have never had the opportunity to comment, I did mark all of them as LIKED
You make me speechless man. That is wonderful Hollywood Dance cinema. I would say this was a perfect cut. And the background music fits exactly on the pace of the dancers. For this masterpiece once again a thumbs up. Thanks for send the video.
Excellent video Rick. Your really worked hard to make it, but the result is spectacular. Perfect synchronization between music and different kind of dances that you have chosen and great edition. Congratulations for this wonderful work and many thanks for sharing with me.
I loved this video especially all of the different types of dancing plus I loved that you used a song from the ole days when music IMHO was worth listening to than todays songs.
This is one of the best I've ever seen. I couldn't take my eyes off From Nine to Mary Poppins I wanted to get up and dance with it. Thanks so much for doing and sharing this.

Super! You do a wondeful job of blending the scenes and the music was perfect. Now i can dance off to do the dishes. Thanks again for the great entertainment. You don't miss a beat. As always, Rick,
Dancing is fun, and there's so many dancing movie scenes over the years. I think it was Rudolph Valentino who was the first actor to bring dance to film. It was the tango in a film in 1921. ;) I like the song Let the music play from the 80s, and you did a great job on the dance sequences.
Can't wait for part 4. Your entertaing as always. Mr. Showcasecinema

This is a great dub...
and I'm pretty hard to please.
I HATE the finish though.
The whole video was VERY SLICK ! but the ending is beyond corny.

our primal fantasies in dance are realized! Breathtaking editing & choreography of
of music, movement, dance sequences, animation and everything else that could
be imagined or desired in an extravaganza of this genre! You always deal a
winning hand, Rick, while making the process seem effortless! Quit your
day job...you have found your calling! Bravo, Maestro!
