  • Of course a Turblow fan would say that SFV is mostly filler. How can you call yourself a Priest fan, you poser?

  • People actually listen to this gay ass album?! How can you call yourself a Priest fan, or a metal fan for that matter, if this is you favorite Judas Priest album? Try listening to Defenders of the Faith, or Painkiller. Even Ram It Down is three times the record Turbo is!

  • id knock that old man out in one punch to that jaw! total gym wont save his ass.

  • the most under rated band in history, yet still the fucking best by fucking millions of miles <3

  • This is the best quality of this masterpiece on youtube

  • listen to a song called The Sentinel...not many have apparently

  • thats what i call the song!

  • i know this is the best one!

    oh yeah!!

  • gotta admit worst priest album ever. but this song kicks serious ass

  • worst priest album. ever,.

  • awsome!!!! pure metal at its best!!!! ty

  • orgasmic solo...

  • Ok.. Time to clear things up.. Yes, this and you can throw in Point Of Entry as well... Both albums were "weak" compared to Stained Class, AOR, British Steel, SFV, DOTF, and Painkiller.. But hell, if you're a real fan like a bunch of us here, and especially myself, now going to be 20 in a few hours, we all grew up with this music, and damnit, WE LOVE IT NO MATTER WHAT! It's Judas Priest, the biggest and most badass Heavy Metal band in this Universe. Defend The Faith and love the music! \m/ \m/

  • @HeavyMetalDrumMaster Gotta admit....the beginning of this song is excellant.

  • great song! turbo is cool!

  • This is the weakest Priest album in my opinion-in fact I was highly disappointed by it-and quite frankly-a bit disinfranschised as well?...I became a serial arsonist..jk..but seriously, I did wanna burn this piece of commercialized crap after I heard it! Some people will hate me for this comment-but only true Priest fans would agree-This album really stunk compared to the rest of their catalog. Oh well-such is art-not all of it is good-or its good to some but not others? It just SUCKED to me.

  • @TheStaticage01 a real preist fan would enjoy everything they have done we all have opiioin and i'm not trying to start a fight or anything band change and try diffrent thing if if they don't they will start loseing their fanbase and they would get tired of doing the same thing i love this album it may be a glam metal album to most people 0but i think there is some strong songs on this i love everthing preist has done top to bottom

  • @givemeacookie1233 fair enough-to each his own? ROCK ON!

  • Actually, I just listened to "Hot For Love" and, yeah, Reckless is like the only real bad ass song on this album. I'd say Turbo Lover except that it's pretty gay. If this song had been on the Defenders of the Faith album that would have been nice.

  • Besides "Hot For Love" and "Turbo Lover" and "Reckless" this album was pretty much a failed attempt for JP to be more commercial.

  • Lets all be thankful for the METAL GODS ABOVE! In giving us epic music. This song is Amazing. I'm Thankful this year for Judas Priest Making amazing songs like Reckless. And Rob Halford's amazing vocals.

  • My favorite song ever from Judas Priest, I wish everyone knew it and I also wish they'd play it on the radio

  • Damn right, "best song on Album". This song practically salvaged a record that sorta needed some shit. Hey, anyone know why you can't find any of the Priest with The Ripper...like Bloodsuckers, Jekyll And Hyde, etc?

  • what an awesome guitar solo

  • One of the BESTS Judas Priest songs EVER!!!

Only the Metal Gods could do such an AMAZING thing!!

    All Hail JUDAS PRIEST!!!

Judas Priest gave shape to Heavy Metal, they were and still are the BEST!

    Period. |,,| |,,|

  • back at those who wish they would play this on tour... I wish they would too! However, when JP goes on tour, they play their new album heavy and pull the other songs out of a hat.... literally! They admitted as much in an interview back in '93 I think. What they put on live albums and dvd's is a different story - they boil down the whole tour to the best performance of each song, taking into account the entire year long tour.

  • This song really gets the adrenaline flowin'. Gotta love it.

  • i love driving down the freeway with this song blasting. \m/!!

  • it is indeed one of the most energetic songs in the album.

  • best song on turbo!!!

  • This ,and Rock Hard Ride Free are two very underrated Priest Songs!!!!!!!

  • great solo!!!

  • this is the most underrated song priest has.the guitar solo kicks ass

  • kick axe alive and kickin subliminal cletis ray evans is it mirage or de ja vu?

  • @cletisevans1 KICK AXE PLAYED IN MY COUSINS BASEMENT

  • solid as rock no wonder - I'm indestructible

  • Became a fan in '86 when Turbo came out, and this was one of my favorites on the album. Have owned all the albums and dvd releases, and am a priest fan through and through... yes, even through the years when Owens was singing. This song rocks, and now that songs are being updated for new tours, I'd loooooove to hear it drummed out by Travis and rocked harder on guitar! LONG LIVE THE PRIEST!

  • i did also .first hear from the priest at 86.i was like 9 10 years old back then i must say that was a year that i still have a lot of great memories from it.some 24 years ago..and when i listen to this song .i still remember the air the environment.winter.spring summer autum on 1986.

  • alive and kicking!

  • Ripper Owens sucked ass! For those idiots who even compare him to Rob dont know jack shit! Rob Halford will always be the voice of heavy metal!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheNWSCOTT -Yes, I was glad Priest forged on w/Ripper, but HALFORD is and always will be the metal vocal KING!!!

  • @TheNWSCOTT I AGREE

  • @TheNWSCOTT Hes not as good as Rob, but he was still awesome. Case closed.

  • this was supposed to be in the film 'Top Gun', but you all knew that already....

  • god!!!this song is so good

    Judas Priest best band ever!!!!!

  • Its a good album but a bunch of retards say the Priest "Sold Out". Bullshit to that I say, Any song by priest I will listen to all the way (unless its jugulator or demolition, Because Tim Owens was a HORRIBLE singer)

  • I wouldn't say Owens was a horrible singer, he just wasn't the right fit for Judas Priest. It wasn't the same effect as when Dio (and later Martin) came in for Sabbath and it clicked and became somthing new.

Owens came in and it was something that just didn't fly with alot of people...especially with the potential that a Painkiller-like direction would've had for Priest in the 90s. Could say it was "Halford or no deal".

  • that is totally true

    Owens was horrible

    those albums sucked for me

Halford is the voice of Judas Priest

  • This song is amazing.

I'm still trying to figure out why everyone hates Turbo so much. It was a good album.

  • Because some metallers are very stupid, they don't understand a band who want to try new sounds!

  • well yea... but let me tell you something i dont like turbo at all (just this song that is one of the best Judas Priest songs) but when JP tried something new with ram it down and became better with Painkiller it just made me think that Painkiller is the best album by JP =)

  • @garrettkirkthompson Indeed! I love it from start to end. Everyone used guitarsynth or a lot of synth in their music during the mid-late 80's. Not like it was just something Priest only did...

'Locked In', 'Turbo Lover', 'Hot For Love', 'Parental Guidance', 'Reckless' and 'Private Property' are standout tracks for sure.

  • @garrettkirkthompson some ignorant people calls Turbo "glam metal" but they're wrong 'cause Judas Priest are LEATHER not color laces.

  • @garrettkirkthompson Too fucking right!

  • @garrettkirkthompson I think it's their best - certainly their strongest. Priest albums are notoriously inconsistent. SFV was 75% filler, for example. My fave abum would be 1/2 Turbo and 1/2 Defenders.

Can you imagine how much more awesome Top Gun would've been if Priest allowed them to use this song for the aerial training sequences insetad of saying no cos they thought they film would tank?

  • priest are not much rated

    fucking posers everywhere

  • I agree, this is the best song off the album.

  • best song off this album. love the way halford sings it.

  • One of their best songs...

    Period!!

The solo is more or less worth the whole song:)

  • bulid a 1000 homes yer a home bulider, bang 1 ladyboy, well.... who cares my sister is gay, halford is the best fuckin metal singer bar none, nuff said....

  • This song is so underated ! been a preist fan since 86 as because of my age. i am33 and it does"nt matter if rob is gay ! i have gay freinds so what does the feeling to the same sex matter?? I went to tailand got drunk and went to bed with a ladyboy not knowing but it was hot ! will i be judged ? isn"t metal about not being predudiced but as all are one and welcomed ? Been around the block for many years so can predudiscm be banned for everyone colour or race and gender ??????

  • good song, but i think turbo lover is better than this for best song on the album

  • Best fuckin song by far on this album. I just can't believe to this day why they haven't played this live. I'ts actually one of my favorite Priest songs. Long Live the Priest.

  • I can't understand why everyone puts Turbo down so much, when I first heard it, this song amongst others almost blew my mind! Really, all later Priest albums are underrated in my opinion. Some of the solos on Ram It Down are amazing.

  • this was a good album but it was right after Defenders of the faith and that was flat out amazing

  • I love it

  • This sounds good!

  • Ive never heard this song before, and all i have to say is wooow. I didn't know Turbo had such fierce songs.

  • Turbo does have some fierce songs all right sinbysin666. Just looking at this insane cover (that was done by artist Doug Johnson) is enough to make you think, "Boy, the Priests must've done something right with this!"

  • Easily best song on the album and oneof the best solos of all time.

Shame they said "no" to it being used in Top Gun. How their career would've been different.

  • Their greatness is sufficient to make them "live" for centuries, their music screams louder than 100 topguns. Why the fuck would they need a movie to be famous/known when they ARE the metal gods...

  • Think about it......

  • Nah, there are alot of better solos ^^

Like Painkiller, Beyond the Realms of Death(the best by Priest if you ask me), Heavy Metal(Best Priestsong!), Elctric Eye, You´ve Got Another Thing Comin', Victim of Changes, Sinner.

The solo in The Green Manalishi is cooler than ice too!

  • Heavy Metal 4ever!

  • thank you so much!!!reckless and out in the cold are the greatest songs ever by priest.Divine! Thanx again MaidenWarrior!

  • You're very welcome, corleone0503!!!

  • Awesome song! Actually; according to the Priests, this song was originally going to be on the soundtrack to the movie "Top Gun". Sadly, it didn't fit. Oh well. Awesome song though!

  • Really???It would be great Priest on Top Gun's soundtrack... It fits very well with the movie...

  • I thought so too. Who knows? Maybe someone could've fit the song with certain scenes in the film and post it here as a video. GOD DAMN Hollywood movie business!

  • JP turned Top Gun down because the movie asked for this song to be an exclusive, and not on any other JP albums.

Big mistake in retrospect, because the Top Gun soundtrack sold shitloads.

  • I heard they turned it down 'cos they thought the film would flop. When they relaised their mistake they recorded a song for Johnny Be Good - which *was* a flop.

Both great songs. Reckless is phenomenal and with a brilliant solo.

Kudos to Maiden Warrior ebcause this screamsout of my speakers and is SOOOOO heavy. That riff - pure genius!

Melody and metal: an awesome combination!

    Such an underrated song.

I can take on the whole world when I hear the song cranked like this.

  • they also turned it down because they thought the movie was gonna bomb

  • It's good that they did...then they'd be forever linked with Kenny Loggins...no number of sales is worth that!

  • it didnt fit? fits perfectly, they turned it down cuz they thought Top Gun would suck

  • That's what the Priests said alright, but as it turned out, it didn't suck. Oh well. It's still a classic film, and the Priests are still a classic metal band.

  • @pman1018 True.. But, it's not that it didn't fit, but they would have had to pull it from the album in order to use it for the movie.. But hell.. Does it matter? It's Judas Fuckin' Priest! This song kicks major ass! \m/
