Fair enough. I did sound a bit like a dickhead with that comment. Not saying you don't have a sense of humour. I can relate to what Brigstocke is saying but I don't feel I share his world view. I tend to come down on a lot of successful comedians because the Apollo should be a showcase for the cream of the crop and when you've seen a lot of good comedians, this does seem pretty basic. Nobody's wrong here. Just because everyone else finds this funny doesn't mean I have to.

That is true, although I really dont see why you find him so generic. I mean He doesnt move around and make expressions like other comedians but then neither does jack dee or jimmy carr. Two very funny comedians that rely on words more than physical comedy. I suppose I find this guy funny because I have seen him on other shows and stuff which was very funny.
