FYI...for those looking for the ultimate in protection...an Ipad 2 in a Griffin Survivor case *does* indeed fit nice and snugly into these Hard Candy Bubble cases...offering up some nice hard cover screen protection on top of the Survivors extensive amount of protection.
@SunseekerPredator130 It's like a mix between silicone, and hard plastic. It's not hard, but it has some movement. It's actually pretty nice, seeing that I hate the silicone and hard type cases.
Hi, I was just wondering if you have any experience with the Switcheasy Nude case as a cheaper alternative for the Belkin Gripvue to use with the Bubble Case. The combination seems to be great for me but I thought perhaps I could cut down the cost on the TPU case to lessen the expense of the combo. Is there another, cheaper TPU case you'd recommend? Also, what solutions do you come up with for getting your ipad into a typing angle with just a TPU case? Thanks!
@TheMw2rocker Check the dodo case its great, durable, great quality, your ipad will look like a book. The only downside is that takes a few weeks to ship out
@patucky8898 They are two totally different kinds of cases as the Apple case is a folio style case where the Belkin is more of a TPU (plastic) case. For me I prefer the Belkin because it offers a little more drop protection however, you must keep in mind it does not offer any screen protection.
hello WOW nice video, its really nice to see such good information on a vid, the true is you can buy USA iTunes gift cards, many people are looking for USA itunes gift cards, this store provide that to you, they are legit iTunes Gift card store, they deliver to me by email, and Fast, my advise to you :)
That's an interesting combo, but it really looks to be very protective one! I really havent heard much on the Belkin Grip, but seeing yours I think I'm going to get me one. The Bubble case just looks odd to me!
Thanks for the clarification. After re-watching the video it did make more sense. Thanks for the time. I haven't purchased an iPad yet, but intend on purchasing your combo recommendation!
You claimed the hard candy as your top pick but you complained about the ncase unit adding bulk. The hard candy case was bulkier than the ncase so what gives?
@wanttoplae The incase book jacket adds bulk all the time meaning, when you put the incase on you leave it on and use the iPad while it's in it. The Hard Candy case is bulky but while some might choose to use it in the case that is not really the intent. The Hard Candy case is meant more as a transport case or storage case for when your iPad is not in use. They really serve two different purposes. Hope that helps to explain.
I really want the Hard Candy Bubble Sleeve Case because you can use the ipad while the ipad is in the case unlike other sleeves, where you slide them in and out. I've looked at other cases but other cases are either too pricey or aren't good. So i hope i can get this one : )
Do you think you can just go to ebay and buy silicon cases and snap it in the bubble sleeve? i hope so. ebay sells silicon cases like that belkin thingy for like $6-17
Great news from sfbags is that the case i show in this video is now available as the "Exo" and WILL fit with the Belkin, Apple and other cases. For those who do not like the style of the Hard Candy Bubble Sleeve I would absolutely look at the "Exo" as it screams quality.
@metagamers I was excited to see the Exo for use with the Belkin but unfortunately it lacks an insert and Ultrasuede® lining to protect the screen like the Ultimate case has. Does the Grip Vue fit at all inside the Utimate because I think I'd miss the extra screen protection? The Exo seems better intended for the Apple case with its cover. Or do you think the insert and lining are that big a deal. Thanks for your input :-)
Just to let you know that the Ultimate SleeveCase is designed to fit the iPad naked. The new Exo SleeveCase will fit your iPad within the Belkin case. Hope this helps.
The Exo is available for order now on the sfbags - dot - com webiste. Thanks for including the Ultimate in your video. Just wanted to clarify the intentions of the various cases since we get a lot of the same questions. Thanks!
Hi, Great review. Do you think the Waterfield and the Grip Vue would be a good combo? Or is the Waterfield just to small with the Grip Vue on? Do you know if any other SF Bags might work? Thanks
I have not had any issue with dust under the case as of yet. In regards to the hard candy case, since the internal rubber bumpers are adjustable it fits as snug as you want it to.
Great video! I had a quick question though: does any dust or anything get under the grip vue case while the iPad's in there? My experience with hard cases is dust and stuff get into the case and scratch the device. And does the hard candy case hold the iPad snug if adjusted?
It's a different style that's not for everyone but if you like the concept of that case they also make a plain one without the bubbles that looks more traditional, I think that version also has a black interior as opposed to the orange.
Good review, Belkin skin looks nice, but that bubble case is just ugly. Even more so inside than outside, which is surprising because the outside must be the polar opposite of classy! I'll consider it if I ever decide to play a super technologically advanced game of frisbee golf, but other wise, ugh....

For a perfect combo, I would have a zagg invisible shield (front side), and back grip case + a hard candy bubble sleeve case. It's THE best combo .

All these cases look nice as hell. Too bad they're stupidly overpriced. $60 for a piece of plastic? Don't think so.

BTW, the Belkin Grip Vue for iPad is now ~$30. I saw it today at my local Target at that price.
