I think it is rather pathetic that people here make such a fuss about the narrator's way of pronouncing the 'r'. It isn't all that bad, with your in your head created aversion you make it so. He is perfectly understandable. It might be mildly distracting at first but just focus on the content of what he said. People like him deserve as much as a place in society as any other so get over yourselves and your petty aversions.
a lot of philosophy has their basis in genetics...philosophers merely put into words what science what our nature makes us...as controlled by evolution...we are each other shackles, each others competition and friend, which makes the relationship very complex
Romanticism is a liberal movement...against conservatism comprising racism, superstitution, caste state, inequality, disdain for humanity and all life on earth and use of tradition over reason and rationale.
GODDAMMIT! The freakin' narrator's/Peter's oral presentation, is just too damned caustic to my ears. I shant further listen to his drubbery, for he sounds like Yacky Duck when he speaks. Couldn't they find anyone in all of the Empire, to narrate such a powerful documentary/film?
Go Wordsworth! Really a treat. Peter Ackroyd is campily seductive in his presentation, but so smart it's all okay. Visual style was kind of bludgeonish but when it works its pretty powerful. By the end I was won over. Thanks indeed. I'm watching again tomorrow.

Peter Ackroyd's mush mouth is entirely too distracting... and way to insert yourself into the text, eh?
