Wonderful tribute. Splendid woman.I liked much the Shah!!!! Pity that now Iran is a Islamic republic.I want remember the Persia and the Real Family before the ayatollah. Perla.
vaghan mage barayeh mamlikatemun che kar kard what exactly did she do for iranians. She was born to a rich monarchy father and then what. Why are people idolizing some rich girl. It's like if the british idolize the queen's grandchildren. Exactly what did they do for their country. I am not getting made at you just wondering what you mean by "true iranians" every person born in iran who loves their country is a true iranian. Do not idolize people who have done nothing for our country
I don't believe that the prince will ever return to Iran because his Mother is a princess from the Qadjar-Dynasty. And the princess Lyla is died just as the german-norwegian prince of Mood rejected the? marriage proposal of the jordanian princesses Haya and Raiyah. So I believe it could be the CIA. The prince was related with the Shah father and prime minister Alam. A perfect solution for a return of the monarchy. What a pitty.
I knew several Iranian officers and loved every one of them. I am Christian, American, and well-educated in western ways...yet, I do appreciate the times I had with those Iranians. The Princess should be with us today.
she is one of many young Iranian women whom this regime ultimately led to their untimely death.
She actually represents the face of many depressed, lonely, and disconnected Iranians both in Iran and outside who are suffering from the consequences of the conspiratorial revolution.
calmguy1-If you are talking about Iran's security system during the Pahlavi's regime — comparatively-I would say that they were quite small and ineffective in dealing with the threats to the state and were infiltrated by people who did not have the best desires for their country the result of which ended up as the 1979 upheaval and the Non-islamic,Non-Republic,Non-Iranian regime of the Fascist Mullahs.
well this is so sad.i feel sorry for her.i really do..but did someone really make any video for the people who were killed or tortured on shah's orders.(iam not a mullah by any mean).but shah admits in his interview that atleast in his initial days he used torture as a tactic.may be those poor people dont have that sort of personality.just a thought.
My husband met her whithin a group of friends. He says that Leila was so depressed girl at the moment and she was not happy with the way she had to live.
She was never happy with Pahlavi family and the royal lifestyle. That's why she used to live away from her family in last years..
Anyway it has been proven that as long as the first and last alphabet in any English word is written correctly, then most people will be able to read it and understand the meaning of it. So whether one is good at spelling or not — doesn't really matter here. After all nobody is trying to pass an English spelling exam here!
It Sad to see such a young, beautiful and vibrant person die in such a tragic way...
In rather a bizarre way, It's funny to see how we all are the same regardless of our race, gender or status... We all have the same pain, loneliness, sadness, misery, and hopes.... The story behind them might be different, but the outcome is still the same, pain, loneliness, sadness, and misery...
Yes,I agree. I think she would have been happier in Paris. Most of her family live there, apparently. Or maybe if she had a full time job,she wouldn't have been so preoccupied with 1979. Living alone in a hotel room can make your mind go berserk.
Fortunately not a lot of them — although some have. But then those left behind in the Mullah land — how many of them have died of OVERDOSE and addiction and related illnesses in the past 28 years because they have been living in a hopeless God for saken country and situations — under the rule of the fascist mullah mafia and thier cronies and storm trooper like you — who supports them.

why did she die in such a young age?
BostonEm 3 years ago
She died of a broken heart. Her love for Iran and lose of her father was more than here dear heart could endure.
The Indian Doctor who prescribed a myriad of toxic pills to her to calm her sorrow did not help either.
Bahramerad 3 years ago
Overdose of course. (Forget about sorrow bullshit, her whole family are quite happy spending what they could took away from Iran)
