If you bring God into a discussion, is the God you refer to the true God of the Declaration of Independence who endows all of us with "certain unalienable rights"? Is the true God who raised Jesus from the dead, the one that has forgiven all humans forever and has nothing to do with the Ten Commandments nor judgment nor punishment? @nicknmartin yes, and up until the Harrison Act it wasn't illegal anywhere in the world.. it's control and that's all it is.. in the US taxes were paid in hemp, cars were run on hemp oil, clothes were made from hemp, etc.. the oil barons approached the gov't because hemp was crowdin' their style, it was competition and wanted it done away with..
