I think that camstisia (don't hold me out on the spelling) is good because it is a editor and recorder all in one and it automatically records in 720 so not like fraps and Vegas I think that this is really good and aging don't hold me out for the spelling
@loves0to0splooge its should be decent, but if you play on high res or more demanding titles like battlefield,crysis,metro,etc it will have to be on lower graphics settings with lower framrates

Onrecording:Avidemo=highest quality possible (it's looking at a frame for a while, takes a screenshot, goes on the next frame, repeat.) NO lag while playing, you record using the demo command, anyone who can barely run the game can record that way too. It's like theater without lag.
It's time consuming to use though, when you synced the sound (as avidemo doesn't record sound) it's just like any other videofile. It rarely fails.
I think the PC is great playing Halo CE is very fun but I prefer Console the Xbox 360 is my favorite Ive played on the PS3 and I find the bigger controller of the Xbox 360 is a lot easier to play and use JUST MY OPINION

napalm streak : hold down left mouse button (what ever button you fire with :P) and drag your mouse around, and if you want to skip napalm or use it later just hit esc.
Recording: just record with fraps in theater, use Wegame for zombie but watch out because theres no sound, but there is a way to fix that just look it up youtube, But you can't do a live commentary if your playing zombies then ;(

To aim napalm: drag where you want, hold left mouse button and drag it around. That should do the job ;). Little tip: always expect someone, never be off guard or not paying attention, you can go through doorways/entrances ADS if you like. The reason i say this is because people on pc can react much faster than console, for whatever the reason may be (probably the fqct that you use a mouse). Hope this helps a bit. in terms of screen capturing: fraps is the BEST quality even though it does cause a bit of lag
the other option i personally like is gamecam, which has worse quality but better in-game play
you could also use hypercam (2 I think)
Part of the problem with Sony Vegas and Fraps videos may be that Fraps videos are uncompressed...use VirtualDub to compress it a bit (you will need a codec, get loseless so quality is the same)

Also, no matter what program you use to record gameplay, you'll get lag. If you overclock your CPU and have multiple harddrives (have the game installed on hard drive A, and fraps/wegame installed on harddrive B and save the files on B aswell.) It will help out a little bit.

record with fraps but dont store recorded video on primary partition(partition where your windows is installed) increase fraps fps recording settings to 60 fps.
@Blacksido If you're planing on playing on like super high resolutions (2560 x 1600 or higher) I suggest SLI, but if you're only gonna by at 1920x1200 or lower, 1 card is enough.
@Blacksido well, first, when you're talking about a AMD HD 6750, it's not SLI, that's called Crossfire, witch is basically the same as SLI. AMD or Intel CPU will do. But on the Intel Side, you'll have to be really careful with what motherboard you pick, if I re-call, the P55's and X58 motherboards could run both SLI and Crossfire.
CPU on the Intel side, anything higher than an i5 760, and AMD 945 or higher.
2 or more cards in the system is either SLI or Crossfire, that simple

You don't get the same precision with an analog stick (plus your hands are confined to either analog or buttons, not both at the same time) mouse and keyboard are always the way to go. To aim napalm on pc, though shalt attempt to move the mouse to aim it while holding diwn the left mouse. It is incredibly glitchy and was a poor decision on treyarchs end.
@TheVGamer PC at the moment is having its down time due the economy crisis but i think between now and 10 years PC gaming will get an good boost and PC gaming still is bigger then Console.
I am a PC gamer myself and i can say i do not like console gaming at all. Lets hope the new generation go and comes play PC and or people from Console coming to the PC cause men PC is awesome :D

@rubenhoed I'm pretty sure that the PC is getting a boost right now. Look at all of the amazing games that have come out in 2010 like SC2, CIV5, Cataclysm, Black Ops, Mass Effect 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Bioshock 2, Amnesia, Fallout New Vegas, and several more. And yes even though a lot of these games are also on Xbox and PS3, think about the advantages we get as PC gamers (Mouse/keyboard, modding, better graphics). Also PC is the only platform where RTS and MMO games can succeed.

@rubenhoed PC needs maintenance. Its the way it works. Consoles don't need maintenance. Red Ring isn't maintenance, its a flaw. I'm glad I don't own an Xbox, I own a PS3. The PS3 has the most advanced cooling system out there. Another reason why I prefer console is because I just prefer it. PCs have fraps problems if running too many things at once. PCs aren't for gaming in my opinion. They are for homework, searching and small games. Not huge gaming. Thats the way I see it.

PC dont have fraps problems, console games are locked to 30FPS which sometimes drop to 20 due low hardware specs.
@rubenhoed I dissagree. Graphics don't make a game either. Plus if a new game comes out and you want decent graphics for it you need a new graphics card, a new that, and the list goes on. For consoles the fraps speed is locked at 50fps. Not 30fps. PC doesn't have the best controls, my opinion. I hate using a mouse and keyboard. Its annoying and it takes room. Plus, the controller hookups for PCs are just crap and cheap. Console is the way the go for me. Theres more series on console.

Hooking a controller op to your PC is the same as an console, the controller on you PC can be good on race game

But it all matters about your resolution.
If you play 1900x1080 it is going to be a battle for the video card.
But the for the 5670 Starcraft 2 and Black Ops is just very easy.

1. To aim napalm either hold lmb or rmb, depending on your preferences
2. I use Xfire, wich is basically steam+fraps(with smaller files)-achievements-harder to find recorded vids (you cant use file search).
Also, since you like to rush, I reccomend the mp5k w/ red dot or kiparis extended mag. Plz, PLZ, dont use the ak74u. Its so overused :(.
Oh and Id say put your melee button to your mouse side button, so you can knife as soon as you see someone within rang

Also, no matter what program you use to record gameplay, you'll get lag. If you overclock your CPU and have multiple harddrives (have the game installed on hard drive A, and fraps/wegame installed on harddrive B and save the files on B aswell.) It will help out a little bit.

record with fraps but dont store recorded video on primary partition(partition where your windows is installed) increase fraps fps recording settings to 60 fps.

@Blacksido If you're planing on playing on like super high resolutions (2560 x 1600 or higher) I suggest SLI, but if you're only gonna by at 1920x1200 or lower, 1 card is enough.

@Blacksido well, first, when you're talking about a AMD HD 6750, it's not SLI, that's called Crossfire, witch is basically the same as SLI. AMD or Intel CPU will do. But on the Intel Side, you'll have to be really careful with what motherboard you pick, if I re-call, the P55's and X58 motherboards could run both SLI and Crossfire.
CPU on the Intel side, anything higher than an i5 760, and AMD 945 or higher.
2 or more cards in the system is either SLI or Crossfire, that simple

You don't get the same precision with an analog stick (plus your hands are confined to either analog or buttons, not both at the same time) mouse and keyboard are always the way to go. I just said goodbye to my Xbox this year (last year it's LIVE auto renewed ^^ but only my friends played it XD)

@rubenhoed I'm pretty sure that the PC is getting a boost right now. Look at all of the amazing games that have come out in 2010 like SC2, CIV5, Cataclysm, Black Ops, Mass Effect 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Bioshock 2, Amnesia, Fallout New Vegas, and several more. And yes even though a lot of these games are also on Xbox and PS3, think about the advantages we get as PC gamers (Mouse/keyboard, modding, better graphics). Also PC is the only platform where RTS and MMO games can succeed.

@rubenhoed PC needs maintenance. Its the way it works. Consoles don't need maintenance. Red Ring isn't maintenance, its a flaw. I'm glad I don't own an Xbox, I own a PS3. The PS3 has the most advanced cooling system out there. Another reason why I prefer console is because I just prefer it. PCs have fraps problems if running too many things at once. PCs aren't for gaming in my opinion. They are for homework, searching and small games. Not huge gaming. Thats the way I see it.

PC doesnt need maintence, its just when u buy a PC that you know is not going to handle BFBC2 at maxed out settings its a little bit dumb cause then its your own fault.
But so what if it runs at medium we still get better graphics then a console.
PC dont have fraps problems, console games are locked to 30FPS which sometimes drop to 20 due low hardware specs.
PC is a multi system for everythin

@rubenhoed I dissagree. Graphics don't make a game either. Plus if a new game comes out and you want decent graphics for it you need a new graphics card, a new that, and the list goes on. For consoles the fraps speed is locked at 50fps. Not 30fps. PC doesn't have the best controls, my opinion. I hate using a mouse and keyboard. Its annoying and it takes room. Plus, the controller hookups for PCs are just crap and cheap. Console is the way the go for me. Theres more series on console.

The only exclusives that Console maybe has which PC doenst have: uncharted, killzone, little big planet(and halo 3 and reach, halo and halo 2 are for PC).
Hooking a controller op to your PC is the same as an console, the controller on you PC can be good on race game

Harddrives aren't too important if you get one at around 6000RPM (Mid-range)
