@Deurknopjes No, apparently you have to 'add' the other person to your contacts to be able to call them, like on skype.

i can't get it to dial out using skypeout. I have a skypeout account/number and credits. skypeout works fine on my computer, but not on the itouch. fring goes to the the dial screen, rings once then ends the call. any ideas?

i have the ipod touch 2g. i downloaded this app and did the things it told me to.. then when i finished doing what i said i tried to go on msn. i put in my id and password and said that id or password was incorrect. so i tried it again and the same thing happened. i checked my id and i defenatly had the right passwrod because  have the same one for evrything. The version of Fring that I downloaded from the app store on 10/11 2008 allows voice conversations through MSN, Skype and Skypeout calls to mobile and landlines. I have not tried voicechat through Google Talk.

u pay for skype unlimited N. America calls for 30 bucks a year to call out and 3o to have a number for them to call u when ur in wifi hot spots.

U can get a mic for 50 bucks but u can also get a Phillips ipod mic adapter that u plug ur headphones into and u can click a button on the adapter to activate the mic. Target PHillips iphone headphones.
