how do i access the webcam on my asus> i dont know where to find hw to use it. i clicked on all icons and did my best, can u do step by step walk trhu on how to open up my webcam?

i bought the asus eee for $230 and the touch screen for $61 i only bought it because it was cheap and portable and it can do a lot too. Buying a eee 1000 is a waste of money because you can buy a good laptop for that amount of money.

absolute best video on youtube. Can't figure out why it recorded so bad for you, as when i've tried it's fine.

Also, where in the world did you hear it was for children? Because it competes with one laptop per child? The eee is far from being for children.

I just WISH I knew how to download programs. I've read every single tutorial on the web, and none of them has worked for me of downloading software on my Eee PC.

How did you manage to upload this video? Whenever i record a video on the asus eee in ogg format and upload to youtube it just says 'Rejected (video too long)' even though its well under 10mins and well under 100meg.

Have you tried changing the format to '.mov'? It works for me. Cause YouTube doesn't let you upload anything in the 'ogg' format

Why the low framerate? I've seen other 701 webcam recordings with higher framerate.

The quality looks pretty good, but the sound is out, not sure if that has to do with the laptop tho.

Looks better than a cellphone camera to me. Pretty cool all in all.
