Another part about your cover that I understand is that I believe your singing is used to keep track and pace for the song so you can show your guitar skills. Unlike some less talented people, you don't just walk in front of a camera with a guitar to show off your voice, you bring your guitar skills into play, I respect that a lot more :D.
