In all meanings i must say that nothing enthralls me more than reading Poes works. They are truly masterpieces all of them. But Vincent Price was a god! His acting can not be compared by anyone elses, dead or living. I love this.

There was no dismemberment in the original text. It wouldn't have made sense. He couldn't have dismembered the body without some blood being present and the odor of blood, etc. would surely have tipped the policement off.
