That I saw it as a child doesn't mean that's is the reason I prefer the old one. I usually don't like this anime style. The only anime I like, which I love hugely, is Ghost in the Shell. I've seen a lot, but I dislike most of it strongly.
You never seen Grave of the Fireflies? it's a brilliant, uniquely animated and powerful animated WWII drama about the horrors of WWII in Japan where Hiroshima was bombed and two orphan children flee the countryside wondering as they see suffering and need to get away from it all. It's a film guaranteed to make you cry and a film that captures the human spirit and one of the best films ever. Recommended.

I don't get it. Better animation, writing and voice acting seems to make people feel like their youths are being threatened somehow so they bash things even when they're brilliantly done and insist the low budget one they grew up on is simply better...when quality wise it isn't.

Nostalgia blindness is a sad thing. I watched the old version and it's great, I won't lie, but that doesn't mean this one sucks by default. From what I seen so far, it looks amazingly well done (And my Cheetara is even hotter...christ..)

Esta intro es un Fan Made ¡¡¡¡ La Nueva Serie No Tiene Intro, mas que el Logo de THUNDERCATS y ya, no es como en los 80´s en donde toda caricatura tenia Intro, la versión del 2011 no tiene una Oficial.
Lo que noto es que a cheetara la dibujaron mas sabrosa, ojala pongan un doblaje acorde a su nueva imagen y no pongan otra vez la voz de Queta Leonel (la detevtive Benson de la ley y el orden UVE) y a los demas protagonistas tambien les dibujaron deacuerdo a la personalidad de cada personaje. Por cierto ¿alguien tiene estos nuevos capitulos pero en español latino?

They always seem to dumb down the way things look these days... why does all the cartoon characters these days need to look CUTE and CUDDLY.... the originals always looked more raw (for a cartoon that is) and it looked so much better. Their creating GENERATION SOFT with these looks.

Let's not forget Thundercats was part anime in the 80s version! Studio Ghibli who gave us Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Grave of the Fireflies, Nausicaa and more co-produced the original show

What shit at the end?... The spoken final words?? "Thundercats: Los felinos cósmicos". Those were the words used in the ending of the classic 80s intro for Latin America... Imho it was a great detail from the video creator...

Brilliant!, as guitarguy1387 said, there actually is no real intro at the moment (well not one that anyone has seen!) and I love the way you've recreated the original intro (which was one of my favourites as a kid) with the new footage (albeit it with Spanish subs?!). I really wanted to see a new intro and kudos to you for getting off your ass and making one. Thumb up for you my friend!

this is much better then the intro they do have on the new show. the show itself is just as good as the generation one Thundercats cartoon but they should have have stuck with song as the intro

Better graphics for 2011 and really good episodes. But I prefer 1985's heroes;)
