All five species of slow loris's are going extinct thanks to 'cute' youtube videos. They have caused an increase in slow loris's as illegal pets. Taken from the wild, individuals have their TEETH WRENCHED out these are highly VENOMOUS (the only primates in the world to be so). Legislation has done little to stop these activities and awareness is key. PLEASE RE-PASTE THIS COMMENT

@128katydid I don't feel bad for animals in good zoos like the Philadelphia Zoo, and most U.S. zoos. I feel bad for most animals living in the wild, though. Nature is very harsh. And humans have made things even worse for so many wild creatures.
@128katydid yu should feel bad for the ones that are being taken in illegally as pets. The ones that get their poisonous teeth yanked out without anaesthetics in Indonesia to be sold. Poor things..
@benkenobisgirl Thanks! I think part of the reason the Philadelphia Zoo animals are so curious is that the keepers provide a variety of enrichment items to keep them mentally alert.
So, this animal likes to live in a boring room with a big false sun and a wire-covered vent, not the trees like it has evolved specifically to live? Get real! I appreciate that you may claim to care for these animals at your zoo, but this enclosure is completely inadequate!
@mattybates78 My videos are all posted for the same reason - to show what good lives the Philadelphia Zoo animals have. They do not show any wild animals being kept as pets. And they are in no way intended to encourage the illegal pet trade. I think you are basing your contentions on the fact that people often see cute zoo animals and say things like, "I want one of those!" But those people don't really mean that because they know most wild animals can not be kept as pets.
@10ugaman I guess if you could stop it from licking under its arms to collect the toxin, you would be okay. But, there isn't any way to get around the legality issue!
@Kakairi She probably recognizes my camera as something she sees a lot. But she can't quite figure out what it is doing. The good thing is that she is not afraid. She is just curious.
@aliniazgd This is the kind of visitor experience zoos should advertise and promote. It is very special, and it is at times like this I become really aware of the need to protect and preserve wildlife.

Awesome video. I love how curious and cute it is. I'd get one if it didn't produce poison and was legal.
