The sparks don't make the bar, it's the animated noise, that makes the bar part, the sparks were just an added effect for looks. They do make good fuses too. ;)

a LOT about $1000 I think it was the last time I looked. But my laptop came with it installed already. You can find it cheap online.

I got AE 7 (my first AE ever) off of eBay for $141. Yep, I can remember EXACTLY how much it cost.

Then I upgraded to AE CS4 for about $300, I think.
