It was at 405.6bhp then. It had a Scorpion exhaust system with the middle box removed. The backbox was of the old scorpion variety with the STUPID 2inch baffle in the tailpipe :-( It was suffocating the whole setup and thas why its sounds so insane! Ive since replaced the backbox with a more modern scorpion tailpipe that is 3inch the whole way through :-)
The sound is incredible...sounds like a Stradale x 10.

I am currently considering options for next year and one was using an Escort Cosworth as my daily drive...not sure if its a bit too old for that though.
Nice car man, put some more videos up. Not many original Cossies exist out there. Good car. My friend had four but sold them all. :-( Only one exists now out of them all. Some got nicked for the parts.

Hi mate,
I got my new back box from Matt at rsspares.com He's a very helpful chap :-)
If you have the system with the 2inch baffle in the tailpipe it wil have a 2 inch baffle in the middle box as well :-( best get it cut out!

When this was filmed it was running a T38@34psi peak, ported head, std cams, 4x4 inlet and spacer, 55lb injectors and all the other usual bits...
Its not the same car as the 'very fast whale tail vid' :-)
The car has just been made up to a much bigger spec with a T4 turbo, bigger injectors different cams and inlet etc.
